The Question is why Islamic Block or Islamic Nations ditch Iran after Islamic revolution and supported sanctions against Islamic Republic.

Because there is no such thing as "Islamic Block" of nations. The sooner you ( all Pakistanis) abandon the tunnel vision that you view the world with and accept this, the better.

Iranian people are impressive. They seem to be inherently a modern and progressive people. Atleast the ones I have met. This is very much in contrast with muslims of the subcontinent, who are more backward (no offense, not singling about pakistanis).

I hope to see India as developed one day.

Wow guys , thanks for screwing up what was a totally awesome country. Everyone here is blabbering about the fact that yeah , now you guys are no one's slaves etc , west can't lecture you etc. But what's really important is - are your citizens happier now , compared to what they were in the past?

Sometimes , it's just better to live under another country's influence. Under russian influence in the 60s and 70s , Afghanistan was a country far ahead of India or Pakistan ,perhaps the most progressive country in south asia .and would have continued to be so. Now , YAY , they acted brave and kicked the russians out. Now it will take them at least another 20 years more to catch up to Sudan.

Well , it's sad we don't have those mixed gender pools and everything anymore , but when the majority of people then wanted them to be closed then they are better closed , that's what real democracy means , people has to experience with things to learn
