Lantau Island 大嶼山

Lantau Island 大嶼山 belongs to the island district and is the biggest island in HK. It's almost twice the size of HK Island, which lies on the east. The island is mostly mountainous and dominates by lantau Peak 爛頭 934m, 2nd high in HK after Tai Mo Shan 大帽山 957m and twice the height of Victoria Peak. The other peaks are Sunset Peak 大東山 869m, Lin Fa Shan 蓮花山 766m and Nei Lak Shan 彌勒山 751m. The Island is sparsely populate with only 45,000 and is called the lung of HK because of that and the greenery. We already visited Tai O, which lies on the west end of the island, so let's check out other notable places in the island.

Great work Fanling Monk, keep it up! :woot:

Regarding the Cable cars, I remember when I was very young, we once went to Ocean Park and got stuck on the Cable cars!!

We were in the Cable car when the entire line stopped working. We were stuck halfway across, hovering in the air for about an hour and a half, lol.
