I recommend a very good camera, very small and compact, but lots of features and true HD video (1920x1080) and best sensor. It uses the Exmor R sensor that can take in bright light, twilight and at night with stunning image and vibrant color.

It is the SONY TX7.

Well worth the $400 or so. A good investment if you are a professional photo/videographer! It excels in both video and photos and the stereo sound is awesome! I will buy one myself.
