Pictures of developed villages and towns in China

The above posted pictures are not villages by any definition. Towns maybe. I hope next you will keep updating this thread by posting pictures of villages too (as the thread title says) . I think villages should not have 3+ floor buildings and adequately spaced.
LOL, we can't imagine village without open fields and people enjoying simple life. Our villages have there own charm..

Urbanization is the main theme here, but we do have rural villages which are full of charm :enjoy:

Well I studied town planning as part of my BS engineering. And as per the known definition of a village that I am aware of, a village is a group of few houses holding 500-2500 individuals. Some definitions keep the number as low as 100-500. But in the above mentioned cases, a single highrise hold that much people so how can you call a group of 30 such buildings "a village" ?

I actually was more keen to observe the actual existing villages of China to see their way of life. Not criticising the urbanisation of village areas, I am an engineer, I admire high-risers.

You are right. Villages are large and small. The population of remote small villages in China is only a few dozen or hundreds. Large villages with good economic environment have a population of tens of thousands. In recent years, China has been merging villages and towns to make their administrative management more efficient. If you have studied urban planning, you can also pay attention to aerial photography of another Chinese city. Where I have released aerial photography of 81 cities in mainland China. The next two posts will continue to be updated.
