The Dai people put their writings in various materials and the palm leaves are the most popular

In many ways the Dais are still nostalgic to those methods, as an artist prepares the palm leaves

The Dai people eat what most other ethnic groups in China eat but, just like other ethnic groups, they have their own unique specialties

Good job providing interesting photos of each ethnic group.

Actually it benefits me the most. I want to learn more about Chinese people and cultures so as I'm doing researches I get to read many articles behind each picture I select. It's a good way to spend my leisure hours though I like to debate too but you know how it is with many members in this forum.

Taking a break from those trolls can put your mind at ease while you do some meaningful research.

She People 畲族

She People 畲族, numbered about one million, are one of the official recognized 56 ethnic group of China. They are the largest minority in Fujian province. They are also present in the provinces of Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi and Guangdong. Some descendants of the She also exist amongst the Hakka minority in Taiwan and there are 45,000 listed as Dongjia 东家人 in Guizhou Province. The She people are not native to Zhejiang. During the Ming- Qing dynasties they moved into and settled Zhejiang's southern region and mountain districts in the Lower Yangtze region, after they left their homeland in Northern Fujian.

The She language belongs to the Miao-Yao language family, however, only a very small number of them speak the language today, and the majority use other Chinese dialects like the Hakka and Fu'an. Most Shes' religious believes are similar to what other Chinese believes, mainly Buddhism, Taoism and local or national deities.
