Translation: Donations/Help for Pakistan builds up... Turkish PM amends a billboard which reads NO to REFERENDUM... The Turkish word for No is Hayır and Hayır also means Khair (Good Deed) or Donation. So, the PM rewrites the billboard text ...as (Your) Donations to Pakistan.

He says: 'Here... Now it looks better!'

A notice displayed by the Turkish Electricity Distribution Company in a neighbourhood where electricity theft is rampant. The banner reads: "If you heat water by stolen electricity, no wudhu (ablution) and ghusl (body-wash) are valid, and y...ou cannot wash janaza (mortal remains) with that water, too."
Tickling at people's religious sentiments in a secular setting?

no offense to anyone

A cartoon by famous Turkish cartoonist Selçuk Erdem:

The Inventor: I managed to complete the Time Machine.
The Contractor: As per the agreement, you had to submit it a month ago.
The Inventor: No problem, I will.

And look at now!! how much war has dominated our minds? Even rugs/carpet industry is not spared. I remember that during the Mujahideen time, they immediately brought the Jihadi stuff into school text books, but i think luckily it has been removed now.

Hmmm...very true!

It is a sad fact.

It is indeed the mentality of a dailywager not the elite that depicts the very mentality of a Nation. And it is unfortunate to see it prevail.

P.S. i would still like to buy the rug.

Recently Rupani Foundation started other projects including, early child development initiatives and hydro electric power generation.

Annie Rupani while sharing her experiences with the Rupani Foundation said that she had been to the mountainous areas of Pakistan and spoke to the women whose lives were changing under those initiatives as they were given opportunities to work outside of the house. A Large Space Station Over Earth

Credit: STS-131 Crew, Expedition 23 Crew, NASA

The International Space Station is the largest object ever constructed by humans in space. The station perimeter now extends over roughly the area of a football field, although only a small fraction of this is composed of modules habitable by humans.

The station is so large that it could not be launched all at once -- it is being built piecemeal with large sections added continually by flights of the Space Shuttle. To function, the ISS needs huge trusses, some over 15 meters long and with masses over 10,000 kilograms, to keep it rigid and to route electricity and liquid coolants.

The Picture of the immense space station was photographed out of a window by a member of the visiting Space Shuttle Discovery STS-131 crew. Visible in the foreground is Japan's Kibo research module, while a large truss is visible toward the left. On the far right, a crescent Earth slices through the blackness of space.

Kinda odd that they're doing this kind of thing even in Ramadan...
