It's not entirely true. Not every step mom is evil. Some step mom sacrifices so much for it's step childrens to make place in their heart that children began to think her as their true mother and this is what my step mom did. My mom died when I was 11 year old, step mom came in to life when I was 12 and after 11 years, we can proudly say, myths about step moms were not true in our case!

You're a lucky person, and I am happy for you mate. But as you said not every step mom is same and that picture just depicted story of an unlucky child.. These things do happen in our society and its a cruel reality.
