PIA to cut jobs, halt flights to US due to financial losses

I remember ask PIA employee, why PIA stopped US flights. His reply was interesting, he said , every plane has parking time and when it exceed the time airport authority charge 10,000 dollar an hour for extra hour parking fee. And many time PIA delay flight due to late arrival of some fvcking VIP. So, it's not only parking penalty they also get warning for not complying the native country regulations.


Kanjar VIP culture in PIA also destroyed the airline. Zardari ghora manga raha ha... Nawaz Shareef paay manga raha ha... these leaders are literally extremely corrupt and there followers are more corrupt then king.

the problem is young people are being wound up or test run for privatization party. they want to sell it off and quickly for quicker kickbacks and leave the country with a security problem.

every tom dick and harry is thinking out of the box and along the same line..privatize this privatize that. the level of education on young ones scares the crap out of me.........

the solution is simple...get rid of fukking overheads. you cant have 40000 employees running barely 40 serviceable aircrafts. the unions can bring national emergency with a press of a button lead by the political goons...

So your solution is to keep the national airline in the hands who "have looted everything" and will continue do so?

my solution is leave the PIA alone and kill the looters.

PIA is deliberately being setup to fail. PIA could afford to lose 80% of its current staff and only then would it be anywhere near normal staffing levels.

1. It is a convenevient place to give jobs to political loyalists as rewards. PIA has a employee to plane ratio of 780:1. Compare that to Turkish Airlines who run at 80:1. We have nearly 10 times as many employees per plane. This is due to direct corruption from the top level.

2. It is being setup to fail exactly so it can be privated by the Sharif brothers. If it is sold it would be sold for an extemely low price citing "lack of interest due to losses" yet we know those losses are artificially created.

What we need is to end PPP/PML/MQM/JUI forever.

Remember took flight from Karachi airport, PIA staff wondering around on the airport like a gangster, spitting pan. Literally doing nothing, it clearly shows they all syasi bhartian. All protected by unions ..
Not only this , went to one of friends home party,who worked in PIA...guess all paper products with PIA logo ......... lolz.. outside PIA van parked for personal use... literally corruption is beyond control
