you have no idea.... my friend came from china and wanted to visit AJK my home. but i needed a Notification of clearance for her from interior ministry of pakistan. they wasted one whole day of mine having me wait there for 10 hours at the end a clerk or a junior officer came to me in stealth mode and said. its a daily routine and i seem to be not understanding the situtaion. he suggested if i flashed around 50,000 Rupees ( around 400 $ in that time 2016)
i could get a NOC for not just 1 week but for 6 months or as long as i wanted them to stay in AJK.

i was surprised! had i not have Islamabad police commisioner in my family i could have never gotten the NOC for free. corruption is deeply rooted in pakistaniz and Azad kashmiriz alike we are pakistaniz after all.

we are corrupt to our core!!! it was nawaz sharif time i think back then. anyways i think even if imran khan can clean 50% corruption from pakistan it would be a huge achievement.

we pakistaniz and i am ashamed to say this are the most corrupt people in the world and i am 100% sure about it from the smallest scale gate keeper security guard to the top level minister we are corrupt to our souls!

we hear chinese are thieves and corrupt people in pakistan, then we hear russian citizens or perhaps ukraine is the most corrupt people on earth but i shit you not pakistan is number 1.

people won't even deliver your TCS, mail etc without bribe in a few months im sure of it!

I doubt its profitable yet...it will take a lot more effort to clean the P&L up to make it profitable..but obviously increasing the top line (sales) is the first step..i hope they clean all the union infested and ghost employees up too so expenses can be brought down

rupee obviously didnt depreciate by 40%. math tou sahee kar lo before trying to bash financial figures. Im sure no profit yet because PIA requires a lot more clean up effort just like Indian armed forces do.

Try to sell this running expenses chooran to some kids. I am very well aware of data manipulations being done here . BTW its not called running expenses its called operational expenses. Whats the change in P&L thats the main question!

Dear, rather than jumping to conclusions good question would be how much of this revenue increase is profitable. My hunch would be that devaluation of rupee has resulted in increased fares, and in turn increase in revenue. This would imply similar increase in costs as well!!!
