PIA pilot’s Hindi song on flight irks flyers

Islamabad: The pilot of a Pakistan International Airlines flight annoyed passengers by singing a Bollywood song to call an airhostess to bring his meal to the cockpit.

The pilot was unaware that his “message” to the airhostess could be heard all over the aircraft, thanks to an open mike. The incident occurred on a flight from Islamabad to Karachi last night. “Aa bhi jao sanam, tujh ko meri kasam” :smitten::smitten:, the pilot sang and an airhostess rushed to the cockpit with a food tray. The faux pas happened because the pilot was unaware that the mike had not been switched off by the cabin crew after an earlier announcement.

The passengers found the pilot’s behaviour “uncivilised and uncultured” and demanded an apology, a TV news channel reported. Following the protests by passengers, the pilot apologized :toast_sign:— first in English and then in Urdu. PT

Hmm..

Quite like the Gent from the Congress party who just lost his job for commenting on a cabinet member without realising the camera was rolling.

I've been laughing since I saw this on the news yesterday. He must have remained in the cockpit until every passenger had left the airport to avoid the "embarrasing" situation.

NO. But its indeed uncivlized and paranoid attitude by Indian Orange media to give it the color of "Hindi" song  lolz you guys are a limit man.

here in Pakistan no one said that singing a hindi song irked the flyers rather the news was that demand of the pilot to bring his meal to him, by singing the song had embarrased him :)

Oh boy!
Just cause he was unaware of the mic and made an informal comment, the passengers protested??

What was so uncivilized about it? I think its pretty fine. Not too professional but ok. We all do it sometime or the other.

Can someone please post this song, I searched but couldn't find it on youtube. I actually found this other song with similar lyrics which is Pakistani... "THEHAR BHI JAO SANAM, TUM KO MERI QASAM"

I am wondering if one of these two was inspired by the other one...

well he lost his composure that is what was highlighted...you are sitting in a business class seat...enjoying your caviar and wine and suddenly someone starts singing this song...on the PA system...it'd not be a joke to you...
