PIA New Delhi office receives closure notice

. .
listen laws can not be applied for older users... there is a statute of limitations...
what did the bank say?
naa.. its not that...
laws can be applied, when one find what fault is there... if its illegal, the action will be taken... moreover its politically motivated, as it seems to me... as many laws are bypassed, while dealing in international arenas...

A really stupid idea :partay:
good nite ..bruv..

. . .
Not at all. This kind of third rate aka 'ghatiya' behaviour perfectly fits in with your country.
i know... it may be hard for you to understand, what rules and regulations are, what procedure to follow.. etc... i understand, its not ur fault..
if PIA should have followed it, it wouldn't be in this mess...

High time that Pakistan bans all transit for indian goods towards Afghanistan and else where through Pakistan.

The extremist Modi and co needs to taste a little bit of reality now...
here this will help you...

The Afghan officials pointed out
that huge amount of Pakistani
goods were transported through
Afghanistan to Central Asian
countries every day. Transit trade
between the two countries is
governed by the Afghan-Pakistan
Transit Trade Agreement that
came into force in June 2011. The
pact, brokered by the US, allows
Afghan trucks to carry goods up
to the Wagah border crossing.
However, Afghan trucks are
barred from carrying Indian
exports on their return journey
from Wagah, he added.
Pakistan recently refused to
allow Afghanistan to transport its
goods up to the Wagah border
with India claiming this was not
permitted under the bilateral
transit trade pact

I think legally Pak will have to pay a heavy price (which they can not afford) for any moves banning Indian carriers over Pak airspace while we can legally kick PIA out and all is fair.
How so?

So what, security comes first. We must not allow indian equipment used for cross-border terrorism through our territory.

Secondly, Afganistan knows what is at stake here. Stopping our trucks will mean the Pakistani stuff, which builds sort of lifeline for Afghans can be used as counter bargain chip.

Thirdly: An alternate route via China is being worked out. That card, which Afghanistan is trying to play now, won't last for long.

So to sum up, no transit facility for india via Pakistan. Period!

Let indian whine.

Pakistanis should get out of their sense of entitlement and follow the rules of the land.

Pakistanis should get out of their sense of entitlement and follow the rules of the land.
When they ask even for aid from America as an entitlement, then this is hardly significant.

Did anybody read the linked Indian Express Article? It sounds like this is more a tit for tat for Indian Airlines not being able to operate in Pakistan. The decision seems to be based on a technicality of whether they informed for the RBI before or after the purchase.

@Horus - Aren't you guys signatories to International Air Services Transit agreement? Any plans to withdraw from it?
