Philippine front runner's vow to claim Sabah angers Malaysia

.
this is simple to understand

go to google and search '' Sulu'', the first thing you will notice is that they are muslims. Philippines is (catholic) country.. they have been going to war with muslims :(sulu/moro) for 400 years.. those guys want independence from philippines or turn the entire philippines into a muslim land..

most of the members are twisting the facts..
Sounds like you don't know what you are talking about, do your homework.

Sabah was under the administration and ownership of the Sultan of Sulu for centuries while such transfer of title and ownership can only be acquired through the agreement from such land owner.

In 9/11/1962, history has been recorded:

President Diosdado Macapagal issues special authorization in favor of Vice President Emmanuel Pelaez to formally accept, on behalf of the Republic of the Philippines, the cession or transfer of sovereignty over the territory of Sabah by Sultan Mohammad Esmail Kiram, Sultan of Sulu.

Thus, Sabah became under the administration and ownership of the Republic of the Philippines on the day of September 11, 1962.

Ownership by any other entity without the authority and permission of the Sultan of Sulu is plain land theft.

To be honest, Jejomar Binay is correct. Sabah did belonged to Philippines. The British did leased it from the Sultan of Sulu and then pass Sabah to Malaysia. That is fact.
The fact that Malaysia has been renting Sabah from the Sultanate for more than a hundred years clearly shows that it does not own Sabah. If you rent a property, it means you don't own it.

^ only the southern part.. Philippines had different kingdoms, different languages .

how many reply do i have to make before i can post in the introduction thread? i made 5 already but i still can't introduce myself.. i need to introduce myself to the mods so they will know i'm not troll or another member.

Manila it self (your capital city) is derived from an Arabic world, you need to learn more history about your own country....

"Faith in ALLAH" there is the name coming from......

If PH have the power (soft and hard) to take it, go ahead...

Wrong.

Manila derived its name from two Tagalog words; "may," meaning "there is," and "nilad," the name of a shrub that originally grew abundantly along the shores of the Pasig River and Manila Bay.

Just braced yourself for a BIG SURPRISE. :-)

Militarily and Economically, not to mention International Standing. Malaysia had the upper hands in this regard when pitted against Philippine.

Philippine military action against Sabah will invoke Five Power Defense Arrangement into action, in which will including Australia, Singapore, Britain and New Zealand against your country. I don't see US will standing beside you in this issue because Australia and Britain had a lot more weight when be compared against Philippine as worthy Ally.

Dakila is showing himself to be a Filipino expansionist dog. True colors of Filipinos are leaking out.

Okay, no need to put "wrong" into that bold......:D

Manila history also has "Islam color" on it, similar like Spain who was under Islamic Kingdom for 7 Centuries (Umayyah)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The former city of Manila was once a province of the Majapahit Empire. During the Brunei invasion of the Philippines, Sultan Bolkiah of Brunei captured Seludong (a village in modern-day Manila) and renamed it Maynilà[11] from the word "Maynilad", a Tagalog term referring to the presence of the Nila shrub. By the 15th century, Maynilà was partly Islamic and animist.

During the reign of Sultan Bolkiah from 1485 to 1521, the Bruneian Empire invaded, wanting to take advantage of Tondo's China trade by attacking its environs and establishing "كوتا سلودوڠ Kota Saludong" (The Kingdom of Maynila). They ruled under and gave yearly tribute to the Sultanate of Brunei as its satellite state.[11] They established a new dynasty under the local leader who accepted Islam and became Rajah Salalila or Tariq Sulayman I. He also established a trading challenge to the already rich House of Lakan Dula in Tondo. Islam was further strengthened by the arrival of Muslim traders from the Arab-Indian area and Southeast Asia.[18] Manila was temporarily besieged by the invasion of Chinese pirate-warlord Limahong (1574) before it became the seat of the colonial government of Spain.

And by the way Majapahit is Indonesian ancient kingdom. And since it is an Islamic Kingdom who name the City, so it gives idea that it might derives from Arabic word, "Amanillah",

kamusta ka na pare :) pinoy din ako .i know everything you said.. i'm new here, so it means i cannot paste my links & my sources yet so forgive me until i become more regular here & get more privilege.

i made it perfectly clear that it was sulu that is claiming sabah..

straight to the point. people of sabah had a election and they voted to be part of malaysia. sabah is recognize as part of malaysia by UN.

the contract in 1878 was drafted by overbeck, written in arabic characters/malaysian language . the contract says ''padjak'' it means/interpreted as sale by malaysia/british & not lease. (malaysian point of view).

pres. magapal 1962 case is still ''pending in court'' .. any sulu soldiers on sabah soil will be seen as invasion by international community.

"Faith in ALLAH" there is the name coming from......

1)northern philippines & visayans before spanish was a buddhism or hindu before spanish
2) there's no arabic word in tagalog language that i know of?
3)manila = may nilad = place where nilad flower is found.
