Petition Urging the Philippine Government to File in the US Legal Actions Against China

China has violated and continues to violate Philippine sovereignty as determined by the

Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague. And China just ignores the numerous protests by

the Philippine Goverment against the Chinese transgressions in our territory. We, the Filipino

people, therefore, urge the Philippine Government to file in the proper court/s of the United

States of America the necessary and appropriate legal actions against China for these

encroachments in Philippine Territories resulting to incalculable deprivation of livelihood to our

fisherfolks, the intolerable destruction of our marine environment, and the peaceful enjoyment

of our sovereignty over the Chinese occupied Philippine Territories. It is our firm belief in the justness of our cause and that an adverse decision by US Courts against China in these cases may result in forfeiture of Chinese assets in US soil which China would not want to happen and which could compel them to return to us what are rightfully ours. So far, China has ignored the Philippines. A Philippine victory in US courts will not be a matter for China to ignore. Therefore, this petition!

This petition will be delivered to:
  • The Philippine Government

We cannot go to war but we can sue.

US courts will almost certainly rule that it has no jurisdiction, citing precedence that this is neither for the US to enforce its treaty obligations as it has not ratified the relevant treaty, nor does it take place on US soil, nor does it involve US citizens.

Involving a US Court may not be a good idea as the CCP will view this as a sort of war declaration because it involves the "evil USA" and sponsored by the CIA™.

Naive Filipinos! Both China and United States have trillion dollars asset in respective lands. More important, the business connection creates trillion dollar wealth annually for both sides. SCS is a just negotiation bargain between China and United States. Compared to common interests between China and United States, Philippines' interest nearly amount to nothing.

This court ruling is very good for China to consolidate to solve SCS problem militarily since it is Philippines, not China who overthrows the negotiation table. Since the foundation of PRC, no third parties are able to determine Chinese sovereignty. After the court ruling, in SCS, China and Philipines are technically enemies. Philippines just give China the perfect excuse to resort to Military approach. War, or Military, will decide the outcome. You will have to expect more and more Chinese Navies in SCS until we surpass USA in SCS. Sooner or Later, Philippines will not have a single rock.

Nice to have such a great chance to officially end Peaceful Rise policy. Human history has taught us that there have never had such a peaceful rise. There are always sacrifices for the rise of great nations. Unfortunately Philippines jump in to become the sacrifice yourself.

Some Chinese neighbors are spoiled by the soft economic approaches by China. This court ruling forces China to also adopt hard military approaches. You always have to have both carrots and sticks.

What is this? When will this nonsense stop?

PCA means what really? Even before the 'ruling' everyone knew the outcome.

This is down right silly idea, will make Manila look even bigger fool that got used not once but twice.

Good luck with filing in a foreign country...

Naive Philippines don't know what they have done to China. Chinese spent tens of millions of Chinese lives to establish PRC to defend Chinese sovereignty. Since the foundation of PRC, no country including USA and Soviet Union, has even openly tried to determine Chinese sovereignty. USA supports Taiwan Independence both militarily and economically, but its official policy still recognizes Taiwan as a part of China. But naive Filipinos jumped out.
