Well Pakistan voluntarily asked for and pledged to complete the two-way Torkham-Jalabad road more than 6/7 years ago, but as it is the second line remains in large part incomplete. Either poor execution or shadowed by political issues. In either case the Afghan government was going to do away with it. The time of this news is interesting.
Connectivity and working on economic projects that can foster economic benefits for both countries is the right approach. But the relations between the two countries cannot become normal and rewarding if Pakistan does not clamp down on terrorist and militants that attack us. But my guess is it will have to and it cannot continue and it is already proving to be self-defeating.
