I don't know about the bits of Kashmir that you occupy, but J&K is an Indian state. We do not have walls or mine fields or barbed razor wire or electric fences on state borders here.

How are we to ensure that Kashmiris (yours) stay in Kashmir. The valley specifically. Ladakh and Jammu surely don't want them either. So are we going to wall off the valley? When the attempt from the start is to mainstream them?

Kashmir belongs to her inhabitants not you, BJP or any other party. Just because you have half a million armed occupiers doesn't make it YOUR land.

Now we could say the same that just because a small bunch of people chose to adopt a different ideology does not mean that the land goes away with them.

When you want to shift places, you don't lift your land and take it with you.

No one is stopping these separatist groups from moving to Pakistan. In fact, we would be very happy if they want to join their brethren across the border.

By now Indian troops level in Kashmir would have crossed 1.5 million given turbulence in Kashmir since India needed 7 lakh troops to hold Kashmir during peace time.

Kingdom of Judea and Israel were there over 3,000 years ago long before Christianity or Islam. They ran away due to the fall of their place due to wars - came back in 40s and took back their own historic land.

They'll not survive. If independent, it will be a landlocked country with no real industry, mining etc. They'll be heavily dependent on India/Pak ...hence will not be true sovereign...their politics will be a battleground between India/Pak...

To me there is no solution as of now for Kashmir...we'll have to wait till India becomes too strong to be fiddled with and Pak compromises, or Pak becomes too strong to snatch it from India....Local population on it's own cannot do much

buddy you dont kashmir then first they will be a state border with india pakistan china afghanistan and very close to tajikistan . no2 they have so much of potential of mining of precious stones .third they have tourism and water . it will be soon rich country at least now Pakistani kashmir is more rich well and educated place .
