In next 50 years, countries around the world will have to get ready for climate refuges especially from Gulf. Once I was in Abu Dhabi, it was so hot that I was thinking how people live here.
That's strange because the humidity in most of India is much greater than in UAE. Thus the "heat index" is greater in India. The temperatures during the warmest months are similar too. In fact they are often higher in many areas of India.
The warmest areas of the ME during the summer are found in Kuwait, Southern Iraq and Southwestern Iran. Cities such as Kuwait City, Basra and Ahwaz are recording the highest temperatures in the region. Not cities elsewhere in the ME.
