Business folks are clever!! They go by the total strength of the Pak economy (=30% official + 70% un-official)!!! Some folks jump at seeing the 30% while comparing with their manipulated one!!! And, they open threads after threads to feel good while working through their menial jobs with rudimentary consumption capability (one tenth of Pak for transportation, housing, consumer goods etc.)...

Long time worked as manager in PEPSI.So I think it will be a good investment. Specially the farmers who grow potatoes will definitely benefit a lot.:agree:

ever read the manufacturer on your potato chips that you eat and other drinks you take which are not "pepsi"?

Definitely Good for Farmers in that region but not much for Local Competitors.
Also don't forget Multan Snacks unit is only 66 Million $ project.
Major investment will probably goes to bottling business.

Excellent. Need value addition industry for our agriculture products. Potato chips, roasted dry fruits and grains/beans, juices and jams, pulp etc!! All this have excellent potential to be exported and TDAP must work to facilitate farmers and educate them about this. Also in same time the more foreign investment we can get into this the better.
