So i got PC from one of my friend and it has password set up for user account.

Problem, is don;t know the password.

Any way, i can remove that pass and have access to that account. (it has only one account, so it's admin).

If u are talking about window passward especially window xp then you have to press alt+ctrl+del window will appear asking user name and password, enter user name "administrator" and don't enter any password, press enter administor will start window then go to control plan and user settings make a new user and enjoy

it's running Window xp. Not sure if it's home edition or other. Because i can't acces in account.

Really? You sure you aint upto something not good?

You dont really have a choice. Ask your "friend" for the password or as Iluang said, do a clean reinstall of the OS - you will lose every thing.

There's one trick (legal), but I wont tell you.

If it is a desktop then just turn of your PC, then open your CPU, remove button battery and place it back, start pc again and it will ask for new password.

this alt+ctrl+del is new to me. i will try it.

However, i have entered "administrator" and didn't enter any pass through safe mode, but it did not work.

So not sure, alt+ctrl+del will work.
