My wife ate Halal Meat/Chicken First time in Pakistan last year, and as per her words, it taste different .. obviously i don't know how or why she said so but its true .

It has nothing to do with halal, It tastes different because it is not raised in a cage and fed non stop thru hoses. Once i went to a chicken factory in Canada and the state of those Chicken I saw made me stop eating Chicken forever. So, how can a miserable chicken taste good.

I used to take classes about nutrition, awhile back. I brought my own meat to the class, because I didnt eat nor cook haram. This white girl was cooking the halal meat, she calls me over and asked what we feed our cows. I was taken back at the statement and she follows it up with saying it smelled sweet. She was wondering if we feed our animals sweets, because the beef was giving off a very sweet smell. I just kinda laughed and said yes, we feed them candy.
