Looking at launch of SLTGT01 we can see the fixed view of SLTGT02 in Left upper corner ....
whoever made that video ...clearly knows what he was doing ...
so we are back to the where we started ....just for curiosity what does SLTGT stands for ...?
I am sure it will be something equally stupid full form ...

yes I know it's PDV / interceptor missile ...which they are referring it as SLTGT02 in video !

that's why I am saying that SLTGT - may not stand for Ship Launched target ...because PDV /SLTGT02 is clearly ground launched ....

thanks ...but this is the launch that took place in 2013 with interception at 30 km .

its PAD launch and not today's PDV launch ....

wow. Guys next time you get skeptical about anything of DRDO. Just think about missile program. No doubt India did not produce world class missiles at beginning. But it is doing now. Everything needs time. LCA is OK, iterations would be better!

well it's not a new missile ...it's just PDV modified for ship launch ....

and frankly speaking PDV is also not a new missile altogether ...it's basically modified Prithvi with both stages being solid propellent based ...

well it has whole lot new modifications ...IIR seeker , foldable wings ( future modification - to allow canisterisation ) and so on ...

Once again full credit goes to thousands of 'nameless' scientists and technicians who toil day and night in an unrewarding system with meager pay with very little, if any -acknowledgment ...in the name of INDIA .....

7 out of 8 launches of BMD are successful ...that's unprecedented anywhere in the world .

and our scientists have worked with very limited resources as compared to that of all other nations who are developing credible BMD .

It's a great achievement which people may not be able to understand implications of ....
