This year's Farnborough Airshow is going to be a fail...Looking at their list of Flying and static display aircraft's there hardly are any..If you are going on Public day sat-sun then dont bother there wont be much fun at all..Have a look yourself.
There are only 10 Boring aircrafts on Static display and Flying display isnt exciting either...
If you are in UK and want to attend an airshow this year try RIAT on 7th July...that's miles better than Farnborough at least this year...

no TAF in RIAT invited but not confirmed so i wont be going , we won it in 2011

I saw a huge air to air oil tanker parked on the airfield. The tail of the aircraft is taller than the large hanger next to it.

Advice to any PDFers planning on visiting Farnborough this year. Carry a FM radio with you. Information about the flying display is available on a FM channel. The public announcement systems are rubbish and cannot be heard over the roars of the engines.

-sun cream and/or Umbrella (depending on weather)
-plenty of water bottles/ snacks
-leave early because you will be stuck for about 3 or more hours on the road
-general stand tickets are enough
-dont forget camcoder/ camera
-enjoy

Better still take the train.
You can either go to Farnborough main train station if coming from London/Portsmouth or North camp station if coming from Guildford/Reading.
There are enough busses which run between these stations to the air show.

Although i will be going to Farnborough...It wont be much fun as there aren't many aircrafts there..
There arent any famous ones...
All famous ones are coming to RIAT and i cant go there due to some personal commitments...
The mighty B-2 Spirit is coming to RIAT but not to farnborough and he list goes on..
Next year InshaAllah iw ill skip Farnborough and go to RIAT...
