PDF in steep decline.

I don't care if Indians are banned. There are billions of indian posts on even Pakistani newspapers, you can argue with them there. They are interested in even our municipal matters and they don't add anything of value. It's all the same, routine talking points. I like PDF because it is one of the few places where a discussion can be had without someone saying the following stupid $hit:

1. Pakistan was 20% Hindu at 1947 but only 2% now. (forgetting East Pakistan)
2. India is superpower (without toilets)
3. India world biggest economy (forgetting per capita income)
4. You lost all wars (forgetting 1948 Pak taking 1/3rd of Kashmir)
5. You are aggressors (forgetting Goa, Sikkim, Kashmir, Hyderabad, Junagarh, Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan)
6. You are terrorists (forgetting they elected RSS inspired govt.)
7. You are beggar nation (forgetting India biggest recipient of aid in history)
8. What about Baluchistan (forgetting Kashmir's UN disputed status)
9. 3 million killed (A complete false number they came up with)
10. Azam Premji, Shah Rukh Khan, Abdul Kalam (forgetting rest of Indian Muslims for tokens)
11. Pakistan was part of a universal south asian bharat (for a hundred years under Maurya)
12. Bharat extends from Afghanistan to Vietnam (sure it does)
13. We beat you in every world cup match (Pakistan still has more wins overall).
14. You were converted at the point of the sword. (BS)
15. Pakistan is poor (forgetting 700 million Indians live on 2$ per day)

1. One can't criticize here we have new figures which are holy cows on pdf NOW and therefore cant point fingers.
2. It's now a newspaper with comments section no real discussion no new ideas or exchange of views.
3. There was few rational Indians before but ever since Modi came to power their attitude changed and now they are here mostly to lecture or spreading BS. They can spread propaganda here which is acceptable to moderator's but dont you dare using foul language.
At the end thanks to Chinese Turkish Iranian and middle eastern members for providing good input and their patience here cz usually it's so centralized around Pak India only.

Lot of banning have resulted in Indians running away. We need to try to bring them on the forum. Having them was the fun part of this forum. As for seculars they were eventually going to run away

They banned them after 370 and we didn't even provide a logical answer to them.i mean that was pathetic.we were and we are in trauma.rather than facing reality and make new strategy,we banned them all.

Just 2 days back saw a "Project Manger" guy in India sitting and cussing Western Leader/ Prime Minister , saying these Western countries have imported "Terrorist" and then behind him was a line of 30-50 Indian goons

And I am wondering , you are sitting in India dumb ...f and the western countries are giving you job ... and you are calling out their Prime Minister or President badly

Recent banning of Indian posters, on somewhat mass scale, was executed by @waz and prime reason was their persistent gloating over the recent excesses and atrocities of India, on people of IoJK, consequent to revoking of Article 370. I also felt that, under the circumstances, communication with Indian posters has almost become impossible. A constant exchange of abuses and name calling can hardly be termed as a constructive exchange. Perhaps, in a state of war, an exchange of logical views remains no more possible. After all, war is a manifest expression of the principle of "might is right", where logic is replaced by the exercise of physical force.

This forum is chaos theory with no ladder out of the chaos, it's better to not get too worked up and just flow with the chaos.

That's why I stick to the neutral threads (history, etc).

I avoid most political threads if I can unless I'm tagged even then just one or two posts usually in response to the post I was tagged in.

There's really not much going on here in terms of quality posts.

If someone was 30, single and had all the time in the World to discuss the upcoming features of JF-17's Block II in 2012 - is 37, married, pick the kids from school, loans and all that awesome sh!t - person now. Who may not have the time to post 'quality' stuff.

7 years ago, I didn't even have a smart phone. I had one of them Radioshack Dinosaur-age buttons crap that only had SMS service.

Now i'm certainly not suggesting that you're old, retired, divorced in a rocking chair with your iPhone V connected to power socket just waiting to post 'quality' material on PDF.

The very 'pack of immature young kids' will gradually learn from ELITE MEMBERS such as yourself, and hopefully they'll grow into 'pack of immature adults'.

I agree, I learnt alot from this forum when I was alot younger, I started to sniff around in 2004 (approx). Before this I was a member on a different Pakistani forum which claimed this forum was ran by Indian and their sympathisers. I still used to come here. In 2007 I officially joined this forum but hardly posted. I've been a member for over 12 years and been a follower as a guest for 15 years.

When I joined i used to have negative view of Pakistan army because Hizb Tahrir used to say Pakistan army is killing innocents in Waziristan and not declaring war against the non Muslims, and not liberating Kashmir and Palestine. But over the years I learnt that real life is different than fantasy life. I learnt how military works and how you need to develop your self. I can say I learnt alot from the senior members. We shouldn't complain regarding immature questions because people lack knowledge. Let them open their minds and learn. Encourage them to view topics on subjects which have already been discussed.

At the moment I am shocked that I am one of the oldest members. No idea where the oldies have gone. They must be in their 40s now, with 9 kids and a busy life probably.

I have seen messages by people claiming they want to leave PDF because it takes too much of their time but I strongly disagree. You should never leave. They should instead learn the art of self discipline and use PDF once a week. If you are busy then limit your time on here instead of leaving.

I have seen PDF develop from a military forum to a forum where you can discuss unrelated topics to the military. This is a good thing. Just because we love military, it doesnt mean we have no other life.

I definitely think we need to start our own YouTube channel, this way we can communicate our messages in to video and teach the people, maybe meet up between guys who live close to each other. On a different post I've posted many things.

I have been posting on PDF for over 7 years now always found it to be vibrant, diverse and accomodating of differant opinions. However of late there appears to be agenda driving the mod team. @Dubious and @The Eagle have managed to wreck what was bastion of free speach and turned PDF into a narrow, low quality posting forum. Many quality members have left and those still around rarely post. Instead there appears to be few knobs with pack of immature young kids screaching behind them. I write this only because having been on this forum for a long time I feel rather sad about where it is now.

You really need to look into this @WebMaster I have lot of respect for you, if you indeed are the same Webby. There was talk by some that you had moved on.

Humans are innately selfish creatures (doesn't mean anti-social or immoral), even when we intend on doing good, we project our inner self upon the world subconsciously. I would say most people come to PDF to vent, myself included but people vent in differing ways. Through our self centred views we project our attitudes and habits onto this forum. If the formula is news (stimulus), reaction and circular argument, it fulfils the need for low level venting but long term this process creates stasis within a system. Maybe stasis is preferred within the system of those who engage in low level thought so that it eats up mental bandwidth and becomes self contained for the stability of society. This creates calcification of a system.

Some people sense calcification and will seek to preserve their personal ability to create higher level thought through seeking other methods. High level thought is like a muscle, if you don't maintain the correct habits in the correct environment you will loose it, some never developed it in the first place. Instinctively some sense that the inability to maintain these personal habits will lead to the decay of self and the eventual decay of proximate society into barbarism. To those that care about preservation of high level thought, calcification is innately disturbing.
