.
Can any one, Kindly share some info, on how to download Archie comics?

.
^Well its Batman we are talking. They would rather turn him into a crusader
or something ! Just remembered I even had one of those 3d Gundam editions
with Blue/Red filters. Nerdiness has its limits!
Anyways there are few mangas some of you should try...

Eureka 7
Gundam
Akira
Naruto
Ghost in the shell. etc

nah I do like watching some manga and all but reading wise i prefer my traditional american superhero comics they are just the classics sorry but the japanese stuff doesn't have that what i like to call "soul" of Marvel or DC.Hey remember this being in the news a while back I wonder if anyone here read it it ever took off ?

^ missed it, though saw it somewhere I can't remember. The artwork is still
too flashy so guess I've skipped it. The concept is based on Islam, or rather Islamic
culture.

For others interested, its about ancient Baghdad falling under the attacks
of Hulagu Khan. So the Calipha and the librarians of Dar al Hikma
instilled the knowledge of the world on 99 gem stones and through time they
had been scattered around the world. Its about those stones being found once again.....

Searching through my old collections, this caught my eye suddenly

DC Comics Fans to Protest Superhero Relaunch at Comic-Con

dcprotest.jpg

More than 200 fans have pledged to attend what organizers are calling the "DC Original Protest Walk" at Comic-Con International in San Diego. Unhappy with what they've seen of DC Comics' superhero relaunch initiative, which goes into effect this September, participants intend to make their feelings known in what's presumed to be an outdoor demonstration, perhaps not dissimilar in format to what we saw last year when the Westboro Baptist Church protested the "sinful idolatry" they believed was inherent at Comic-Con.

The DC Original Protest Walk is to take place July 23 from 2pm to 3pm and is organized via Facebook by Laura Hornack, who wrote the following which we have not edited:

Are you utterly baffled, disappointed and just ANGRY to see how DC ruins your favorite character's design and wipes decades of comic history out of the mainstream universe? Well, you're not alone!

And why not make some noise at the biggest pop-culture event this year, where creators, artists and writers appear in person - show them how fans - the fans of the classic characters, the (nevertheless slightly changing) designs, the character's history and personality - really feel about it!

Standing with the DC Original Protest Walkers is Harleypalooza, a Harley Quinn cosplayer event whose grievances with DC Comics are justifiably profound.

Whatever you think about the practicality, dramatics or indeed madness of staging a political demonstration in response to decisions made about corporate-owned characters who do not exist, it cannot be denied that Comic-Con is the best place to do it. Although one must wonder why the protesters don't just attend the numerous DC Comics discussion panels that will be presented in the air conditioned comfort of the San Diego Convention Center, where they can put their concerns to the creators and editors directly, rather than stand outside and invite the abuse that we at ComicsAlliance will rain down upon them like a great and terrible fire from Heaven itself.
