PCB, IPL at loggerheads over Pakistani players’ inclusion

yeh i said they were blogs, but thats the best out there.

so what are your sources?

if you dont have any sources, and any facts, and any substantiative points why are you talking my dear?

cant take pak bowling talent still being better than indian bowling at this time of disarray, am i right?

Ok let start from the first, who was the one claiming that without pakistan IPl will b a loser, was that me,how did u proposed that without any credible sources which back pakistan as the world leaders

If u dont have any source to substantiate ur facts and figures, then for what i should take it for granted,u were just not ready to accept,we left Pakistanis alone of the competition,is that right?

I do have substantiative facts - i have umar guls, afridi and ajmal's record for you to examine - you choose to ignore them, sour grapes, i cant reason with that.

and based on the above the ipl will by default by a poorer tournament because some of the best internationally recognised players are missing - and ofcourse when the pool is so small its a loss.

its very simple to understand:pakistan:

unless ipl was for everyone but pakistani players and not purely about best t20 cricketers in which case you are right, they will not be missed.

i had alraedy accepted gul as a world class player and even considered his absence as loss, scan my post's again

about the records u put before me to examine,i already had presented one example in the form of Afridi vs warner, and can bring more comparisons, comon bring some realistic rankings, the hell i am not even bringing an Indian in the comparison if u believe all this is nationalistic issue's

But it seems u were the one who choose to ignore

what ever u want u can consider ipl got poor or rich whatever we simply dont care, because we dont see ant capacity in ur players(again except a handful)

And simply not at all going to affect the richness of our competition

a team can only select 10 foreign players and their r 10 teams, that means 100 players, and their r over 400 players seems the pool is more than two times big

Almost half of the list is full of international biggies

anyway i am unable to understand why people r creating such furore, remember this Pakistani players r the same one which each and every franchise rejected once before, but still they still hope for it

anyway,good night

this is where your point falls apart - you think dravid is a big t20 attraction?

at any given time there are usually only a handful of players who can be regarded as the best - as it happens pak in the bowling section occupy atleast 3 of the spots in the top 10, and according to some measures 3 of the spots in the top 5 - when you have that missing the competition loses its cricketing prestige.

your opinion does not change that, its not hard to understand is it?

the ipl is missing some of the best players in the world - like it or not its fact, despite your wriggling about.

hmmmm ya

KP is also a small player
Ab de villiers is also a small one
J P duminy is also a small one
Smith, morkel,Steryn, watson,Warne, gilchrist, symonds, brendon, ryder, sangakara, dilshan, murali, bravo and so more,i will not bring indian names because all this r small names

I will also not count t20 specialist boys like pollard, warber, hussey, cameroon etc because they to r small names

Now what we can do with it,we r happy with this small names rather than some discarded big names

now get it straight,u feel this is a scarcity isue for us,their is some serious drought,we just kicked them out because we never wanted them, they were pretty useless for us,u can patter the entire day how big they were but for they were nothing more than just some names from the crowd

once upon a time earlier also we had kicked them out,and according to many players it was a humiliation, still they want to play here, amazing

we can bring the entire talent from the world with power of our money, but those were not qualified for that, because no one consider here them big, case closed, but u r free to keep reiterating ur case about the fallen angels

Even if the IPL lists the Pakistani players for auction there will be no takers for them. The reasons are as follows:

1. Almost all the franchises of IPL had a tough time this year with BCCI regarding the financial credentials and share holding pattern. For sure they will want to avoid the following scenario.

2. Recent tainting of Pak players in fixing, they may be completely innocent, will make the media analyze critically the performance of Pakistani players and they being human, some of them will flop. Then any allegation of fixing by media will put that franchisee in dock. And no team will want to face this situation.

3. Opinion of the fellow team members during IPL first episode was that managing the Pakistani members were to most difficult thing in their team, they were on a world on to themselves. They were playing like they would conquer entire India in a single match and were not jellying with other members except FEW. No team would like to have unmanageable members.

4. Comments from players like Afridi and Tanvir when they were not included in IPL (not sure if it was last or last to last edition of IPL), has made the team owners to think twice about taking in Pak players. The teams simply do not want to Jack themselves.

Considering the above scenarios IPL has given Pakistani players a face saving exit rather than the more insulting manner in which no one was selected last time.

the main corruption is hindoos taking control of ICC, ICC was much better in the hands of pakistanis and aussies before.. haroon lorgrat is just another indian pimp in ICC, his indian heritage is making him loal to indians..

just few months ago a proteas nowler was forgives for match fixing, but all action was taken againstpakistanis, and also with little evidence, fake videos, totally, unproven

Burn baby burn! :flame::flame:

please tell me you were kidding? How does this have to do with religion and high caste hidu politics? Sharad pawar the president of ICC is not hindu himself[actually he's untouchable if you would] and haroon lorgat is muslim then how are hindu brahmins corrupting the game!! And when exactly was ICC run by pakistanis? It never was! Actually PCB is one of the boards supporting BCCI!!

Yaar what a crazy thread this is!!! Indians dont want our players to be playing in their leauge so be it. There is nothing that can be done about it except from taking a lesson out of it. Its also shows the Indian mentality of how they try to marginalize Pakistan even in sports. They are the biggest country in the sub-continent with the smallest of brains.

I would love to see Pakistan players play in IPL, they are damn talented but not unless relations improve

If we are enemies let's behave like enemies, After 26/11 I believe even Indian people don't want to see Pakistani players and IPL is more about entertainment hence people's choice is supreme

Hmmm... our friendly neighbor with larger brain missed the earlier thread.

I went through it but didnot feel like commenting as it was useless discussion. ICC bans Pak players on recomendation from IPL governing council. This is the key sentence which suggests that IPL didnot want Pak players hence ICC banned them, i dont know why you are asking me to look at it again!!

ICC bans or BCCI Bans them in recomendation from IPL GC?????:what::blink:
