Which RAM are you running??? Usually i see people complianing about AMD not utilizing entire RAM
Its not RAM capacity but RAM speed. Ryzen had problem running to the fully rated speed of RAM. For eg if you buy a 3000Mhz RAM it was only able to hit 2666 or 2133. Now they have released bios patches to bring more compatibility. Most of the systems can now run at 3600 and others can hit 3200.

Ryzen works well with some specific RAM kits like single rank Samsung B die or hynix M die RAM.

I am using Tridentz-300015d-16GTZB (16g) overclocked to 3200.

Power Supply: 1.6 Kilowatt EVGA SuperNOVA G2
overkill, a 1000 watt would be more than suffice
Memory: 64GB G.Skill TridentZ 3000MHz (4 X 16GB)
go for less CAS like 14, most of the higher timing tridentz kits are low quality hynix rams.
you will get 4000 CAS 19 for the same price. If you are only gaming this much amount of RAM is absolute waste.
RAID Controllers: LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i
Now a days MOBO's come with RAID capability. By the way why do you need RAID when you have only one disk?

Seriously there are lot of of extra's in your system like RAID,optane, hot swap cage..etc which are of no use to gaming.

If u have 1080p monitor go with
ryzen and budget board with gtx 1060 6 gb will be enough

Thats a BEAST!

What do you plan on doing with that? Gaming?

Gaming, 3D animation rendering, and Crypto Miner :P

@jetray for the RAID , optane and hot swao cage I will be adding more disks and another set of titan XP :)

Man... That's One motofu'kin Riggggggg

BUt i'd Avoid Optane..... With all the configs you've its not worth paying for Optane.... But you've MOney... and a Tech Crazy.... Sure Go ahead:enjoy:

Can anyone help me build my first budget pc for gaming.

As far as I can tell these are the best spec

I3 8100 - but z370 motherboard are costly now
Am thinking about buying G4560 pentium and Asus Strix motherboard. So I can upgrade later with better processor

8 gb ram

1 tb Hard disk

GPU only Nvidia GTX1060 6GB mostly. But GTX 1050 Ti and 1060 3gb are cheaper and budget gpu.

450 w SMPS

Cool master Case with good ventilation.

Planing to buy 1080P monitor at least 22 inch

. Can any gamers give ur reviews inputs to better my configuration?

Or Get a Good Play station

Get a Ryzen 5 1600 or a coffee lake i5 8400

And pair it with a gtx1060 6gb card

That's a mid level rig right there

.
Sorry guys am late for the party :-) got busy at work.

What is your budget?
I tried my best to keep it below 40k. (I know it will be very less) but it looks like anything below 50k rig is not a good idea in India. Ram price are sky rocketing.

Just see the price below.

1050ti - 13,000 minimum. It's online price and I also enquired with my friends in TN. It's 500 rs more or less.

1060 3gb is around 16,000 minimum (Amazon and local 500 less)

1060 6gb is around 24,000 and O3G or over clocked goes upto 3000 plus.

But I found 22" monitor from Acer for 5500 :yes4: Something good news.

8 gb DDR4 ram minimum 5500 from crucial. Ram coat has sky rocketed last time I was in India

Now for Cabinet and SMPS 550w it's around 4500-5000 rs.

Processor my target is to achieve basic gaming single core or 2 cores even though Ryzen and i3 8100 with 4 true cores and 4 threads are mouth watering . For ryzen starting 1200 R3 costing around 9500rs and 7000 rs for Motherboard. But I3 8100 is around the same price with good temperature and stable clock speed. But mobo cost around 10500 rs basic MSI Z370 series. Which is more future proof so I can just replace them with Atleast I3 8350k :rolleyes1::victory1:

Now I need to buy one ups, had a very bad experience with Zebronics mobo in the past so skipping them. Completely this time. So Antecedent 600va costing 1800 basics...

Overall I concluded that I need Atleast 52000 - 66000. From low to high level gaming rig .

So am working for another month or two just to get that amount :pissed:

What is your budget?
40000 if possible. I don't want low end rig. I. Need to play with medium to. High settings. Especially pubg :sniper:

All seems to be OK, but atleast u should go with i5.
consider i7-3770 , 2 to 3k more expensive than i3, but overall performance is good.
I5 minimum 14000 rs bro. Am trying to. Keep it under budget. :p: That's why I called it a budget build. And why you think I need more cores for gaming when most of the games don't utilize all. Cores and target single core masses expect few games like pubg which takes more processor capacity o_O

G4560 will bottleneck GTX1060.

Must buy a card at least with 4gb vRAM. You won't be able to play games at high resolution if you run out of vRAM anyway. For 1080p 1050ti is good value for money for current games at mostly high to max settings at 40-60 fps but no guarantees in future. This card don't require external power as well. Or better save some more money and buy 1060 6gb version instead which is approx. 60% increase in performance at similar price increase.

As for prices I am not sure exactly.

I checked lots of articles and YouTube videos best bet for G4560 is either 1050ti or 1060 3gb - 6 gb

Every frigging graphics card price shot up after the damn crypto mining. The Vega 56 used to be around 35k. Now it's 56k in inr. RX 580 used to be around 19k now it's 38k.

It's really a bad time if you wanna buy a gaming pc.

If Vegas was 35k I could had gone for 1070 or even 1080 and bought some low end mobo or processor :( What is the price of 1050ti and 1060 6gb in local market? Please can you Google and make some calls? _/\_:cheers:

i3 is not good enuf, need a i5 preferably a k version if you are into overclocking.
1tb hardisk is not cost effective, 2t-4tb is where you get good per gb cost.

8gb ram is average, try adding another 8gb once price comes down.

1070 is a great gpu wrt perf to cost but given that you are on a budget go for 1050 or 1050ti.
In fact if you are not 4k gaming Rx580 or 570 are the best ones.
Better thing is to use the onboard gpu now and buy a discrete gpu later when the prices go down.

Most of the monitors are of 1080p now a days so no issue. Dont skimp on monitor , a 24-27'' monitor will give you a lot of real estate while doing work more over this is one of the components(other than PSU and case) where prices are pretty stable.
If you buy an amd card check for freesync monitors.

If you are going to use the PC only for gaming then go for intel if not ryzen is a good all rounder.

As for up grading is concerned other than ram, hard disk or gpu rest of the components you will lose money. Say you upgraded to new cpu the old cpu has to to sold for a very less price.

I have a ryzen ,have not had much issues other than RAM running at full speed. Ryzen has the most economical mobo+cpu cost compared to intel.

Sounds good man. But in India unlike US RX 580/570/480 all cost a lot more than Nvidia counterparts. I means with the price for 580 I could easily but 1070. It's that costly.

As far as processor is concerned as far as the research goes better thing to do is to go with entry level CPU with mid to high end graphics cards. So I could put the load on GPU VRAM for smoother gaming experience. In most of all YouTube tests videos Battlefield 1, starwars, Witcher runs at 60-70 fps at top graphics settings. G4560, I3, Ryzen 3 usage was around 55% which 1060 99% usage.

America. Really stuck with Intel after few glitches here and there from Ryzen (which is OK for entry level gamers but I could like to get most out of it. India is one hell lot of hot place. Literally boiling inside room with are without AC. Even with AC you can feel some loss of cooling in afternoon. Ryzen 3 fairs well but Intel can be a gem in this regards. Stable frequency Intel than in ryzen or FX series amd chips. Digital Foundry also has told the same

It depends on your purpose. Anyway, if you are going to buy them, then do buy them immediately. Because the graphics miner currencies are almost reaching $1000. So, the price can even increase, together with the shortage in RAM supply.

You get a variety of 1050 ti's between 9000 - 15000. While 1060 would cost around 17000 - 24000 in the local market.

Bro... AMD fits on lots of Mother boards.... A good one will be from Gigabyte and i think its cheaper than Asus which he has planned...

If he's a budget constraint... the best option would be to go with the Ryzen and Gigabyte based boards.. 8 GB RAM and 4 GB GTX105 series GPU will be more than sufficient.

Usually the AMD is over clocked (correct me if wrong)... when using a high end game which needs high energy... the bet is on AMD.... AMD does a better job than Intel when utilizing all the threads, and that's want.
As for the cooling goes... get a good case with at least 3 fans.

corsair case and PSU will be good... Corsair carbide series also very good one.

America. Buying Cosier Spect 1 or 2 cost around 3000rs comes with 4 fans and RPG front case.

As far as Amd goes ryzen 3 + M350 Asus mobo it's cost around 16000-17000. But Asus b110M mobo with i3 7004 cost the same. In. This case overclockable ryzen wins. All suggesting if one have to. Go with ryzen it's better to be with ryzen 5 1600. Will. Blow up my budget built to 22000 for processor and mobo

Fckin miners need to get a job lol. Seriously it's crazy how pricey all of a sudden I decided to build one. Any idea about UAE prices? I will go there for 3 days before coming to India. I heard the price are now high there as well. Double bazooka hitting my pocket

Looks very cheep :flame:

Amazing rig bro enjoy  But with that amount go with Threadrippers beasty cpu.

Check out Tech Deals channel on YouTube. This guy is a legend. His 2000$ build looked amazing.

That's 5000rs more. I could be buying another 8 gig or buy Asus Strix's top class RPG mobo. If it's ryzen it could be like Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300x. If it's I3 it would be i3 8100 which is as same as the kabylake i5 with true 4 cores. 4 GHz version available too for 13500. So it's really hard to pick one.

lol! The price is almost same in Dirhams, or expensive compared to India. My cousin is in Dubai, I tried to get one and the price there is at least 3-4k higher.

Miners are killing it, and you have to wait till the crypto becomes difficult to mine with such cards. And there needs to be a supply boom in RAM, which is not going to happen in Q1 of 2018. So, don't expect much falls. I'm seeing prices of motherboards and cards going up like 150% higher and so. I was going to buy a mining motherboard and it's price went up like crazy.
