And yes, army DOES want civilians fighting for them... thats how you get mujaheddin, they just do not want these mujaheddin in their own country, they would rather have them in Afghanistan.

The proxy war era is long gone though it becomes valid from time to time I firmly believe it is over.
The warfare is changed altogether we need to put our brains to learn new ways and go for the open warfare which is at the doors and just a matter of time.

I applied, got rejected so not my fault.
However no regrets. We have a family history of losing family members in wars all the way from 1857 "Ghadarr" to 1971.
Even my dad almost lost his life few times in avalanches while in the FWO as civil engineer.
If my ancestors hadn't fought so much with foreign forces, I am pretty sure I would have got enough in inheritance to not work all my life

its not over, we just dont hear about it much because:
A.) Pakistan has pretty much won the war.
B.) Pakistan has got significant control over media because of Pakistan installed PM. If you know what I mean...

Brother, it's over for Us . We have to fight on the front foot but as I said the requirement will keep on popping up time to time but just for tasks and nowadays proxies are enough to get the job done.
