Pathetic Pakistani Media

Lack of foreign correspondents is a problem in Pakistan media. There are only a handful of them, many based in London. In US, there are probably one or two, and most are part-timers. Only time there are a significant number of Pakistani journalists in US is when the PM is in town and he usually brings them with him.

One Pakistan commentator did complain that at a recent State Department briefing, there were three Indian journalists present, but not one Pakistani one. You can imagine what questions were asked.
