Now I see your agenda, it seems you have an ulterior motives to kindly communal violance between brothers of different sect in INDIA. You are trying expecially to consolidate the minority masses to fight a bloody violent war with the majority for their right.

Distribution of Bibles is a sensitive subject in North India. I actually got 2 during my school days in a Christian Missionary School..one I lost it and the other still in my house.

we have to be happy that we are born in a Hindu family, that is the reason that your parents did not express an objection when you brought the holy book of the Chirstians to your home. if you had born In to a Muslim family, sure the moment they find that you have a Bibile in your hand the first thing they would have done is to slap you for bringing the book home and the second thing would have been to throw the Bible into the fire.

I am not saying Muslims are bad, all i am quoting is that Muslims do not have tolerance to accept the holy book of other religion brought into their home.

It says that a some Hindutva bigots captured some Dalits and handed them over to the Police. They accused them of conversion. The 'WMD' discovered by Bush aka Hindutva brigade was "Bible, telephone numbers and other religious books". SHAME

why do they have to go to poor people to convert them knowing it creates tension in the society

let them (poor) come to the church voluntarily if they feel discriminated as hindus and want to convert. why going door to door asking people to covert.

first christian missionaries covert these poor then VHP people go around reconverting them back to hinduism (shuddhi they call it) and this creates a lot of tension.

Bangalore, Mar 1:As many as 41 children were rescued from the clutches of offenders who are understood to have traumatized and abused the children at an orphanage called the Church of Christ – Home for the Orphans & Widows in Chalghatta.

The victimized children, 22 girls and 19 boys were rescued in a midnight raid by officials from the Child Rights Commission, the Child Welfare Committee, Child Helpline and the City police. The raids were carried out late night on Wednesday.

The police sprung into action following a call from a distressed child. The perpetrators of the heinous crime are believed to be a father-son duo, Williams and John Charles who have been involved in this since the last 25 years. They have been arrested by the police under the Juvenile Justice Act and the Indian Penal Code. The orphanage has also been sealed.

CRC Chairperson Nina Nayak has been quoted as saying, "There are no records of admission or parental details of the children. The children have been violated physically and, the injuries on the bodies of the children were seen by CRC and CWC members. They also found canes by which the children were assaulted on a daily basis.. Only recently, a three and a half year old girl died due to high fever and her death was covered up.


Ms Nayak added, "They have Rs 32 lakh in the FCRA account in the SBI Vimanapura branch. But there are no receipts and no records of the children, who told us that though a lot of donation was received in kind from corporate houses and individuals, nothing was ever given to the children." According to claims made by Charles, the Church of Christ Society had clearance under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act – FCRA, but no receipt of donations received were maintained.

Williams is allegedly a member of the ‘Church of Christ Society’ that is registered under the Societies Act and is operating orphanages in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu without government license. Charles claimed to be ignorant on the need to register with the Department of Women and Child Development for running such institutions. There is no information on the children's parents, most of them being single mothers who have left the kids under the care of the orphanages.


The rescued girls have been sent to an NGO called Apsa, while the boys are lodged with a Child Helpline.

What else should be done with such thughs!! I guess they should move to our neighboring country and there they will be free to do such an act..

this is the reaon religious conversion should be put to halt. A constitution should be brought that a an person who is going door to door for religious teaching with out being invited should be sent to judicial custody for a month and a heafty fine if complined by the person residing in a home, which these guys approch.

This will be similar to the TARI's new ways to stop unnecessary calls comming to your mobile asking you to take a loan that you are not intersted in. if you have registered with TARI and you receive a call say from XYZ bank, you can sue the bank.

I think most Mussalmans in Pakistan are in favour of sectarian harmony and an end to the rare occasional outbreak of tensions. At the end of the day they all want to just be able to provide for their families and live a normal life in peace and dignity.
