Pashto cinema breathing its last in Pakistan

Pushto and Punjabi cinema needs to reinvent itself. Pushto films are still being played in Afghanistan's cinemas. Bilal Lashari is directing Maula Jutt 2, it would be a completely different concept, he is the director of WAAR also , hopefully it will be beginning of a new era for movies in regional languages. Indian Punjabi movies are miles ahead than Pakistani counterparts, pretty decent ones.

We Baloch are perhaps the only people who don't have Balochi cinema ... Decades back some director released a balochi movie in Karachi... Mobs of Baloch surrounded the cinema and movie was never released ... Thank you poverty + illeteracy...

Pashto Cinema is synonymous with erotic movies in Pakistan!

Hardly anything erotic about fat cows shakin it... While bad mash type dude gets drunk and doesn't give a f..



Or Panjabi movies where fat aunties use to destroy crops while a funny moustaches hero with AK or a pump action on his shoulder acts like a fag without even look at the fat cow destroyin crops for him..

Not only pashto but in general the term 'cinema' in pakistan is breathing its last.
After ban on Indian movies we should accelerate our film industry with decent filmography and handsome budgets.Recent pakistani blockbusters are paving the way for a stable film industry.

I guess it is because that Baloch dude was raised, had schooling and lived in Punjab.

In interview his father said that their Baloch ancestors moved to Lahore 400 years ago.

Give me a break, the acting is just garbage and on top of that the story line has more songs then the story itself and don't even talk about the action but then again Pashto cinemas are in the low level so what do you expect from it
