Parents of murdered U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl appeal acquittals

.
Daniel Pearl, an idiot who went around bragging about his Jewish identity and about Israel, did he think he would get away with just a slap on his wrist for being an American?

So he deserved to be beheaded for that ?

Coming from a country where people are hanged over public sentiments? Afzal guru.

and murderers caught kn cam lynching a muslim are set free.. thats fukin rich.

Afzal Guru was convicted of involvement in a terrorist attack on the Indian parliament.

. .
Daniel Pearl was not supposed to be in Pakistan. He was a US deep state asset.

Any Proof he was US Deep State Asset/Spy ?
Then question is how he came in Pakistan ?
How he was awarded after death ?
if evidence was not solid, why these mullah were in jail for years ?

Pakistan doesn't need US and Europe. Pakistan only needs China and other friendly nations who don't undermine it. Pakistan won't be isolated if US and Europe cut relations.
IMF and World Bank only give loan after the permission from Uncle Sam
Most of Aid to Pakistan, India and other countries always come from US
Most of Pakistan trade is with US and Europe too

This is what Wikipedia shows up:

The Pearls settled in Mumbai, India after Daniel Pearl was made Southeast Asia bureau chief of The Wall Street Journal. They traveled to Karachi, Pakistan, which he used as a base for reporting on the United States' War on Terrorism following the 9/11 attacks by Al-Qaeda terrorists in 2001 in the United States.

Pearl was born in Princeton, New Jersey, to Ruth (née Rejwan) and Judea Pearl. His mother is an Iraqi Jew whose family was saved from the Farhud by Muslim neighbors and his father is an Israeli of Polish Jewish descent. His family moved to the Encino district of Los Angeles, when his father took a position with UCLA. His father is a professor of computer science and statistics, and director of the Cognitive Systems Laboratory at UCLA. He has received the Turing Award The history of the family and its connections to Israel are described by Judea Pearl in the LA Times article, "Roots in the Holy Land."

This man was dodgy to say the least and he was involved in murky business. Even before he came to Pakistan he was doing all sorts of assignments in predominantly Islamic nations. The fact that he flew in from India should have set alarm bells.

The previous and current governments in Pakistan are often lamented for allowing US/Western INGOs and journos to operate freely. Despite INGOs and journos having a terrible spying record. The US is not going to send their best to Pakistan. The government should not have allowed this particular individual to set foot in Pakistan.

Handing out awards in the aftermath is a political gesture and nothing more. When Americans killed Pakistanis in drone strikes or on the roads of Pakistani cities the US government did not hand out awards to the victims or their families.

Just because someone is in jail for years doesn't mean that the sentencing cannot be overruled. People who were charged due to false accusations have come out after 40 or 50 years of imprisonment. The reason for these people to be in jail could be political pressure. The Americans are good at pressuring and handing out threats. Although when their own citizens commit crimes they flee on the basis of immunity.

Pakistan is eventually going to move away from IMF and WB under the new government. The economics of loans was a popular undertaking of the previous governments. No sane country continues to pile debt and borrow staggering amount of money with insanely high interest rates. That era is coming to an end.

Pakistan and China are now fully engaged in building proper trading ties. CPEC is a good example of this. No wonder the Americans feel more and more irrelevant in countries like Pakistan. We can expect that US and European countries are eventually going to retreat and China will be at the forefront. Pakistan is also going to diversify and enhance its trade with developing nations around the world.

Is it enough for a CIA Jew to spy in Pakistan? Why did he come to Pakistan and involve himself in illegal covert activities?

When will you scream after innocent people die at the hands of criminal USA? Vietnam, Iraq, Syria etc.

These are your American heroes at work. Spreading freedom and democracy around the world.

First China has to rise itself. It is not at par with US or EU yet. In any way.

Right but this is only your wishful thinking ... just consider the COVID -19 pandemic, being claiming to have at apex of tech/science/medical, what brilliance displayed by US/Europe?
China displayed brilliantly how to plan and control in such situations even not at par with US/Europe (as per you logic). Having best of the best at you disposal does not guarantee you the success, it is only a resolve to stand, plan better and fight against odds - and China proven it, they are above US/Europe in planning and control.

He was awarded death sentence to satisfy the "collective conscience" of the nation. That was the judgment.

Death sentences in India is only awarded for crimes which are so heinous that they shake the collective conscience of the society. That is the test of death sentence in Indian law. That is exactly what happens when a country's parliament is attacked and people are killed. That is why he was awarded the death sentence.

Similar was the case with the rapists of Nirbhaya and Ajmal Kasab who massacred dozens in cold blood on the streets of Mumbai. And so they too were awarded the death sentence

The supreme court judgment acknowledged the evidence was circumstantial: "As is the case with most conspiracies, there is and could be no evidence amounting to criminal conspiracy." But then, shockingly, it went on to say: "The incident, which resulted in heavy casualties, had shaken the entire nation, and the collective conscience of society will only be satisfied if capital punishment is awarded to the offender."
Judge:No concrete evidence BUT the nation wants to see him hanged(bcz he is a Kashmiri Muslim) so hang him.

A nice reflection of the world's largest demagoguery.

That is a joke not some great example of justice. Stop defending the indefensible.

May I request you to please provide the source for the entirety of the judgement where you've selected the above passage from to gain context. I could not find the above passage in the full summary below.

It is a very detailed, charge by charge assessment of his case and the decision thereafter. It would be highly unjustifiable to cherry pick passages to conform to your narration and peddle them here, especially since you've very conviniently side stepped the rest of the facets of the case, lest they get in your way, especially if it means objectively looking for the facts inconvinient for you.

If the truth doesn't suffice, outright lie, was it?

Doesn't help Pakistan's international reputation here ...

I don't see how. The law has followed it's course. If they've filed an appeal, let it be weighed on it's legal merit. In my opinion our courts are a shithole, but the process has been respected by this government, even when decisions have gone against them, including many outrageous ones. Lets hope they get a good lawyer and stuff enough cash into the pockets of the right judge.

Of course, Modi told you that.

They don't even have shit on their streets to moisturise the roads.
