Its probably more due to the internet being a replacement for the TV, rather than competition.
From what I know Japanese laptop product lines are doing fine.
And personally, being a samsung phone owner; I bought it more for android rather then the samsung build.

Panasonic was once a brand having a great brand value in Saudi Arabia-
Now Sony- Samsung and et all have taken its place-
I blame Panasonic's traditional ways to do business- i hardly see any advertisement campaigns of Panasonic on TV- on roads-
Their interaction with their customers is nill-

Panasonic is a great company only facing difficulties. Good tech, Responsible firm, and Samsung is just junk compared to it.

Not correct. Samsung is one of the greatest hightech companies today.
