This is the best decision in the given circumstances. The case was expected to culminate into such a decision. It, in fact, turned into a strange monstrous case right from the beginning in the sense the petitioners had no evidence in support of their claims. Quite contrary the well recognized legal practice of the petitioners being responsible for presenting evidence in support of their claims, here they insisted that the defender party should provide the evidence (against their own-selves - how stupid!). Finding themselves at a dead-end, the judges then wanted to create an investigation commission but the petitioners threatened to boycott such an investigating body. After prolonged and useless hearings, the court has finally reached to the same conclusion of making an investigating body in order to scrutinize the whatever evidence they have. It is indeed a correct decision because it's not the duty of judges to scrutinize tons of documents and other evidence which covers international financial boundaries. Only professionals can do that. Practically the court has brought the two parties at the same pre-trial stage where Mr. Sharif offered the opponents to form a JIT for investigation. The offer was made even before the case went to the court. That shows how stupid and blindfolded these idiots are. They have put the nation on tenterhooks just for achieving nothing. I wish we had a smart political party rather than these jerks of PTI.

After reading your post i have realized that you havn't actually read the verdict or even part about the formation of JIT. Let me list it for your convenience.

1, All 5 judges have thrown out the only defence that NS and his family had provided( Qatari Letter )
2, 2 out 5 Judges have said that PM should be disqualified because is a liar and have not been able to provide money trail or proof of ownership.
3, The remaining 3 judges have said that NS is not Sadiq nor is Ameen but they want more proof to convict him.
4, The judgement also states that the PM and his sons will have to present themselves infront of the JIT and provide evidence of the money trail to Qatar and ownership of the Mayfair flats.
5, No where in the judgement does it say that the petitioners will have to present proof.

So you see this case is not over yet, NS and his family will have to face some more music and this will be very entertaining for the public but the jerks of PMLN still think that won a great victory.

I have no problem with the JIT.......but I think either the SC shoud have suspended PM, until JIT completes its inquiry....or atleast removed Chairman NAB, FBR...

I am not sure if SC could have done that without bringing on the warth of PMLN supporters. Law and order situation is the reason that they seem to be following the procedure. Now with two judges out of 5 declaring NS as not bein "Sadiq and Ameen" and the other three asking for further investigation the political parties will rub his nose in it and ask for resignation. Note that none of them have said that NS is innocent and case is a sham, What PMLN leadership was celebrating yesterday? Was it just to make tou think that this is all over with Khawaja Saad saying that SC have proved NS is both Sadiq and Ameen, Hilarious!!! no judge have said this.

@Arsalan I just watched the news bulletin and the news came that a new judicial bench will be made to give the final verdict on the issue of Panama after JIT investigation is complete.

The Dunya News bulletin also stated that the Judges with dissenting notes will not be part of the new bench.

What the hell? If it's true---then truly, Inna Lila hi Wa Inna Aileh-e-rajioon

It seems that Nawaz Shareef and the royal family has survived the Panama case as well.

It remains to be seen if the JIT will be independent. I highly doubt that the members from SBP, FIA, NAB & SECP can remain impartial. if our past experience is any guide, this will boil down to nothing. But, one must always hope for good.

I am more interested in the point raised by Daktarr last night in his show and shockingly its a pretty damn gud point, dakktar said 2 judges have categorically declared nawaz as Na Ahal and other three havent said he is not na ahal they need more proofs so they formed joint investigation team which is suppose to be made for criminal investigation, so in short 2 judges said nawaz is Mujrim other three said he is Mulzim right now and will be a Mujrim after 60 days so why not file a reference in ECP for his removal from office as PM, ex secretary ECP Kanwar Dilshad and a senior Lawyer Shah Khawar agreed with him and said its a very technical point and can be a very tough call for ECP.

I do have hope!! I will explain myself in detail shortly. I am trying to give words to what i am feeling and trying to explain both sides of the coin! There is an optimistic account and a pessimistic one too, need to keep the balance. First i will try to answer some points raised here and that will give you an idea.

That was totally different thing sir. This is under 184/3, plus there will be a political force keenly pursuing this one which is known to not give up easily. They will push to take the matter to the end.

Is the JIT made up of agents from the various government departments/ agencies the Court Bench specifically stated failed to investigate the matter of the PM & Company's initial allegations?

Now this is a very valid and all important point sir. However please note that as i mentioned, there is a political party, the media and a huge population which will be following this one up very keenly. Also note that with SC involved it is not inappropriate to keep some little faith. Sir this is a very important phase on the life of this country, we need to do the right thing now or else i do not see things continuing like this for more than 15-20 years max. This is the time to set things right.

Our people here are actually more disappointed because PMLN presented this verdict as there win. Khawaja Saad even went so far as to claim that this verdict proves that Nawaz sharif is both Sadiq and Ameen as well. However on the contrary the decision can be summarized as:

1. Five judges had to give there decision
   
2. Two judges have said that the presented case is enough to declare NS a dishonest and a liar and that they properties he and his family own are shady and have not been explained so he should be disqualified.
3. Three judges have said that the evidence the family provided is dismissed and that further investigation is to be carried out to see how they accumulated all this wealth and that PM and his family need to prove there innocence after appearing before the investigation committee.

Now how can anyone translate this into "SC have declared NS innocent"!!

Its just another nazroya zuroorat tht these 3 judges have adopted....judges have to give verdict based on truth, justice and laws.. If they didnt suspend PM for fear of backlash.....then they have already failed in their duty.. Even if they didnt have guts, or in more politer words..if they were not as convinced as Justice Khosa and Justice Gulzar on 62/63 and needed further inquiry to satisfy themselves...for sake of fairness of inquiry..they should have asked the PM to step aside till the inquiry is completed...

I am extrenely disappointed by the majority verdict too.. JIT is useless, since majority of members will be from govt instituitions

Judges who gave majority verdict in this case may or may not be in the new bench.... Its entirely upto the chief justice, whom he chooses for the new bench.. However, almost everyone agrees tht judges who gave dissenting notes will not be part of this new bench since they have already given their verdict on the matter.

I want Justice Qazi faiz Isa and Justice Baqir Najfi to be part of this new bench... Will be highly disappointed again, if atelast Justice Qazi faiz Isa is not there in the new bench

Those two judges are truthful and honest its as simple as that, and mind you they r the senior most judges in the bench, the next CJ in line

Well did that caused any chaos? Or do not you think that the panel was not aware of what other members were going to say on this matter?
The decision came out as a win win for both parties, just as we have been suggesting for months now, something that can and will be celebrated by both parties, almost everyone here said this. I am surprised how people got carried away once the decision was announced and got emotional. This is exactly what YOU ALL have been suggesting all alone. If you look and think about it all with a cool mind (please do) you will realize what i am saying.

I understand that you are not satisfied with the result bro but haven’t we discussed that the decision will be of a kind that will make both sides happy and yet won’t satisfy anyone fully. The only little thing that would have made it absolutely PEREFECT for me would have been a note, even if In form of a suggestion, to the PM to step down, suspending him so free and fair investigations can be conducted. However, please tell me how would that have made any different practically? I mean, even with PM suspended (though I would have loved it as it would have been a telling blow and VERY insulting) the acting PM would have taken forward the same agenda. The only way around this is that SC take control of the investigation, clear cut points are told to all institutions that about what exactly they need to investigate and what is that SC is looking for.

Dear please do note that this is not a “la waris” case either. These is big political party behind all this and they will keep pushing NS and Supreme Court to take the just route.

Again, i want to point out that:

1. This verdict is pretty much same as we were all expecting and discussed.
2. 
   
3. Only a suspension would have made it perfect for all of us but frankly, that would not have been of any practical value in the case as acting PM would have worked as hard as possible to save NS *** as it means his own too!!

The main disappointment is because PMLN celebrated thee decision as a victory which in reality is not. Out of 5 judges 2 declared him a dishonest thief and 3 have asked for him to be investigated further. NONE OF THE JUDGES SAID HE IS AN HONEST MAN as being portrayed by PMLN. They are trying the same old trick of deception they did on the night of elections in hope that the public will fall for it again and sadly the met some success as well (however I hope more and more people are realizing what they did there).

Again, I will request everyone please not fall for there lies again.
