That's right. I am a "special kid" compared to the likes of what I deal with, who are totally without common sense and medically, come under the definitions of "retards", politely speaking....."mentally challenged". And the guy calling for sit-ins can be totally measured for this category by seeing his inability to stop the inappropriate language and verbal abuse of women and daughters, from his own ex-wife to his opponents kids. Just wanted to set the stage right in terms of how the mentally challenged work in real life.
Now a blind knows the work being done, will start to finish ending in 2017. Unlike you, I don't have personals and emotional problems. I am going to support a progressive Pakistan and its nation. You can remain "unchallenged" in the 1980's violent, cheap and verbally abusive politics. In 2018, someone will eat your lunch (and dinner that time). IK will finally learn what leadership is when he turns 100. But he won't be a politicians or a PM, I can assure you of that . The people of Pakistan know better where their vote should go.
IK should start to deliver first. May want to start low so that he can "get into a habit". For a change, he should watch a chicken how she lays an egg a day. That would teach him some idea about he has to deliver every day to the people who voted for him, even on the basis of ethnicity. But the delivery needs to happen. When he beats the chicken in delivering something every day and bigger then an egg, may be we can give him more stuff to do. Slowly, he'll become a person who understands "hard work". So 30 years from now, he'll be there mentally. But beating the chicken is the most significant milestone in IK's life as far as getting work done is concerned. I wish him good luck
Asad Umar was talking with proper figures, if you want i can provide a link to that talk show.Well i doubt any relative will get his hand on it but there will be major kick backs in this deal. Do you have any source for employee figures ? I heard this in one of TV shows last week not by PMLN Leaders.
PIA was making profits till 2010:Your post sounds like a bunch of statements put together, coming out like a random fire from IK's crazy head and uncontrollable mouth. Facts please?
Dear, NS had said he would never privatize PIA and do this and that, what has he done? he is selling it to his business partners in the middle east. I cna provide NS saying these things on Capital talk, so save me the proof bullshit. I don't care what IK thinks, whats he got to do with anything?Privatization is on IK's agenda too. He had mentioned plenty of times that he'd privatize the airline.
There is no need to cry. The offer still stands, do present my case to Maryam Nawaz, i could be a great asset to the social media team.I have just ONE advise for IK. Start to beat the damn chicken. Produce something a day for the people of KPK that's more than an egg. If he beats one chicken, may be he'll learn he has to work harder and eventually he'll become a hard working leader by the time he turns 90 (unlike depressed and desperate fools on here praying for others to die on every other thread like 4 years old children, I am actually wishing IK a long life..........but away from politics, enjoying a 3rd, 4th and 5th marriage and subsequent divorces )
@notorious_eagle , i heard Asad Umer stating employee numbers has dropped since 2008, by some 200 numbers. PIA faced real problems in Musharraf's time and before, well PPP and PMLN did the final proceedings. What do you make of the whole situation? can you link me up to such report stating employee numbers?
and PIA was profitable in 2008.
Post number of employees from 2008 and for every year since then. Let's see how much balls you really have behind your talk. Your post sounds like a bunch of statements put together, coming out like a random fire from IK's crazy head and uncontrollable mouth. Facts please?
In summary: there were less employees in 2008 and PIA was debt free, profitable in 2008.
PIA was making profits till 2010:
"Credit goes to Aijaz Haroon under whose tenure PIA recorded marginal operating profit of Rs720 million in 2010, reflecting better utilisation of fleet."[1]

Yr2015-Current: ~15 000 employees as per PIA and media reports
Incorrect.
PIA has not made a profit nor has it been debt free in over 20 years. Operational profit is meaningless.
The debt free was a guess, and regarding profit i was talking in a different context. Again thank you for the clarification, as i am yet to fully understand the whole issue.Again, op profit is meaningless as it doesn't account for financing costs.
Thank you. Here is a really nice report that breaks PIA down into brick by brick.

Where are the "contractors" in this list? Remember, the biggest portion of the $$$$ goes to these contracors and you can't even hold them liable because they were hired on "contract basis" and kept getting extensions without doing the work and paying bribes. Second, the airline per the IMF and WB assessments, need 8000-10000 qualified and competent employees to run. So you have (from your data above) about 6-8 thousand people milking this airline based on their cousin politicians. Plus, add the contractor, (i think last ADB/IMF report showed over 10000 contractors, which was 75% higher than needed).
So all in all, if you run this organization like Emirates, AA, Lufthansa, etc, you are looking at trimming down a good $ 3-5 billion a year just in direct overhead reduction. And this airline takes a big loss every morning till dusk, damaging an already poor country's spending, tax payer's money and sheer abuse due to incompetent employees and ghost contractors. The only way to fix this, is to cut it from the Red tape of bureaucracy and bring in educated leaders from other places who've run airlines. The result would be thousands of new jobs (after the restructure and when it reaches profitability), based on education and merit!!!! Pakistan has GOT to start bringing people on merit so your institutions can run properly and produce growth and profitability. The 1980's system needs to go to hell once and for all, no more political employment and contractor ship as you've refused jobs to qualified people and given those to incompetent people who are just using this airline as their party's government welfare program to get a fat check every month, without doing any work. Let alone "hard work"!!
