the exact problem with all other antimissile system , they are far more expensive than the missile itself and also as they are human made they are not 100% successful against the threat.

here a better question was whats the problem with Palestinian missiles that they have nearly zero impact?
and the answer is their builder cant provide enough missile to saturate the defense system and they lack necessary equipment to make them precise enough to land the area they are supposed to land also lack of expertise in building those missile made them even less effective .
