Israel considering new Egypt ceasefire proposal | Maan News Agency
BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Egyptian sources told Ma'an on Monday that Cairo was awaiting an Israeli response on an Egyptian proposal to secure a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The proposal includes opening the Rafah crossing, expanding the fishing area to six miles and opening Gaza’s trade crossings to allow reconstructing the enclave.
The sources added that Egypt presented the ceasefire proposal to Israel on Monday and that Israel promised to respond. Israeli officials showed "initial acceptance," one source said.
“The Palestinian factions agreed to the proposal and Egypt is expected to announce the acceptance of both parties to the ceasefire proposal tonight,” one of the sources said.
The official added: “Then serious negotiations will begin.”

Senior Hamas officials have said an open-ended agreement has been sealed with Israel to end seven weeks of fighting in Gaza, describing the ceasefire deal as a "victory for the resistance".
Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman, said on Tuesday that "an agreement has been reached between the two sides and we are awaiting the announcement from Cairo to determine the zero hour for implementation".
Hamas's exiled deputy leader, Moussa Abu Marzouk, said on social media that the agreement brokered in indirect talks in Cairo was a "victory for the resistance".
However Mark Regev, the Israeli prime minister's chief spokesmanm, said that nothing had been signed and that the reports were "just reports".
The leader of Palestinian delegation to the ceasefire talks, Azzam al-Ahmad, told Al Jazeera that the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, would announce the details in the coming hours.
Ahmad said the deal was reached following 48 hours of extensive talks with officials in Doha, Cairo, Gaza and Ramallah.
Two Egyptian officials told the Reuters news agency that a statement would be made at 17.00 GMT on Tuesday.
Israeli air raids continued on Tuesday, as jets attacked two Gaza City high-rises, collapsing one building and severely damaging the other.
One attack levelled the 15-storey Basha tower and severely damaged a 13-storey building known as the Italian complex, which was home to 70 families and dozens of shops and offices.
Palestinian health officials said 20 people were wounded in the Italian complex attack.

Israel now officially accepts truce deal which is the same exact one I posted on this thread weeks ago which Israel rejected.
Egypt and Israel had that wet dream, the funny thing was this past week has seen more fire than in previous weeks. Even though Israel was trying to claim it had weakened the Resistance. After 50 days, Israel/Egypt/US/EU have all failed to break the will of the Palestinian people and try to devastate them into more occupation.
The will of the Palestinian people brought this victory, Israel tried breaking it by deliberately targeting civilians as Oxfam International has investigated up to 1,500 civilian deaths. Israel also tried this by destroying civilian infrastructure. It still didn't work.
Hamas has exposed this cowardly army before the world. This cowardly nation and army targets women and children like sport and still fail in achieving any objectives. Meanwhile the Resistance killed 68 Israeli soldiers and 2 civilians. It shows who's targeting what.

The courageous Palestinian people have survived 50 days of Israeli onslaught which occurs every two years since Israel uses Gaza as its experimenting base for weapons. Now, the blockade must be removed as agreed upon in the truce. A people under siege in open air prisons by Jewish colonizers have survived the barbaric bombings which have murdered 1,500 Palestinians civilians at least according to Oxfam, UN.
They have rightfully resisted this murderous onslaught in which we saw deliberate targeting of civilians/carpet bombing of whole suburbs especially in areas east of Gaza in which we saw 120 Palestinians killed in one hour in Rafah in which Israel carpet bombed the suburbs in the east of Rafah.
After this, Israel was exposed to the world, their barbaric leaders/'soldiers' targeted children on beaches, targeted thousands of civilian homes often killing members of each family if not whole families. They targeted journalists, medics, financial employees, children watching Fifa on the beach, women, etc....
This video reminds of the deliberate Israeli terrorist bombardment which was intended to savage every single person in the area in which 75% of the east portion of the district of Shajiyah was destroyed:

Egypt has called on the Israeli and Palestinian sides to engage in a comprehensive ceasefire, coinciding with opening the crossings between Gaza and Israel to achieve the expedited entry of humanitarian aid, materials for reconstruction, fishing into 6 nautical miles, and the continuation of indirect negotiations between the two sides over other issues in one month from the beginning of the ceasefire.

It was the same exact agreement on August 18 which Israel rejected. Now, Israel gave up and has accepted it a week later because the Israeli army is full of child killing cowards that have no military targets and can only bomb apartment complexes.
