Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki said this when he met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the bilateral booth of Baku Congress Centre on the sidelines of the NAM Summit

Palestine has decided to name a road in Hebron after Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki said this when he met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the bilateral booth of Baku Congress Centre on the sidelines of the NAM Summit.

He also invited Sheikh Hasina to formally unveil the name plaque of the road, reports UNB.

Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque briefed reporters after the meeting. The Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim was present at the briefing.

Palestinian foreign minister urged Sheikh Hasina to strengthen the trade and diplomatic relations between the two countries.

He thanked the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for raising the Palestinian issue strongly in various international fora.
