This guy (thread starter) was not even bothered about Kashmir till 3 days back. He gave a big list of places where "Muslims are being oppressed" and Kashmir did not even find a mention. When T-Faz pointed out that the Islamic world is generally not bothered about Kashmir, and only about Palestine, this guy has started creating threads equating Kashmir and Palestine, as though the two are even comparable!

Okay, great. This might be because he didn't realise. Why bother?

Kashmir isn't brought up a lot in the Arab world (and don't say that this should be an excuse for Pakistan to stop supporting Palestine- it is our religious duty, whether others fulfill it or not). This might be the reason...

THey are and yes you are right Palistine gets the most attention simply because western media by which the most richest and powerful tend to show Israelis as the good guys and arabs are the bad guys.

and at the same time Muslim in the west get treated poorly. Palistiens also get treaty poorly by IDF and certain Isrealis settlers which never gets reported in the main stream media.

Sorry, you're wrong. You couldn't have done a thing about Kashmir even without the "USA breathing down your neck" as you put it. God knows, you've tried enough. Not just with Kashmir, but with Punjab and sundry other places too. The political leadership of Pakistan has realized that it is a losing battle to take on India, and the 'death by a thousand cuts' strategy has resulted in Pakistan bleeding more than anyone else. The realistic thing is to solve it through negotiation, and go with the LOC as International border.

Not just with Kashmir, but with Punjab and sundry other places too. Negotiation? Shall I give you the link where UN said they'd resolve the Kashmir issue if India agreed?
