:welcome:Well Guys, This is my first ever thread that i am going to start.

My Invitation to you guys to express your views about Pakistan's Win against india in centurian South Africa.

do u think its a nature's sign to greet pakistan and warn india that things are soon going to tilt pakistan's way so india should watch before leaping on the laps of Pakistan's enemies?

Well brother, its your first thread but not something that one could appreciate. Don't try to judge everything from the game of cricket. We as a Nation shell rise Inshallah but cricket match and victory against India would be a wrong parameter to judge. Pakistan is good in many ways but you would devalue yourself if you take victory in a cricket match as omen which India or other enemies should consider as warning.

Just Celebrate that Pakistan did well in this particular match. There has been 10s of matches in the past in which India outperformed us. So where those any omen for Pakistan to be careful towards India? So take a chill-pill and let this thought go with the wind. Relax and enjoy this victory of Pakistan against India but in the match of Cricket for now, just that.

Sure! Now that Pakistan has won the cricket match, it has enough firepower and money to wage war on India.

India.. be afraid. Very afraid!

iam so happy to see pakistan win and my happines we became many folds to see a thread where i can not only share my happiness with other members but it would also be very intresting to analyse whether there is hidden message for us to understand and ccorrect our decisions before they go wrong.
i totally agree with you that india should not follow CHANKIA'S policy i.e "enemy of your enemy is your friend"rather it should believe that your neighbour is your best friend.

My God.. I used to think its Indians who would be superstitious but never know we are not any different. For havens sake think it was game of Cricket where 11 Pakistani's where playing against 11 Indians. The best of our country against Best of India, but in the game of Cricket not in battle field.

Our winning ratio is high than India in the league matches but they have beaten us more times in the finals and semifinals. Now how would you "translate" defeat of Pakistan against India in finals and semifinals? Komon, in the next match India might come stronger and victorious. What logic would you have to defend this crap ideology then? If we want to prove better and give India a "message", we better do it in the field where it matters not here in the ground of cricket where victory is result of good performance by couple of players instead of one whole Nation!

Pakistan has only won a few match's but not the the cup and it has nothing to do with "Nature's sign of Change in Fate".......your reading to much into one match.

If they dont win the cup beating india means nothing.

Thank You so very much GRAPHICAN, RUAG and NASEEBKHANNIAZI for your comments.

ruag i didn't say that pakistan should wage war against india, i don't want that and i am not for any war by pakistan which puts it in the agressor's role.

brother, i just wanted to invite your views about the other side of something which apparently brings us something different. anyways i again appreciate your participation and hope to read more from you.

brother GRAPHICAN,

i started this thread coz i had this feeling sometime back that nature gives messages to us in many ways, sometimes to lift the moods and morales of demoralized or upset people.

you remember when terrorists were on the top of their destructive thrash-hold sometime back they were choping off people's heads, lashing women in the public, and everyone was so demoralized, economy was going down, rupee was devaluing rapidly, dams were going dry and out of the blues pakistan won T20 world cup.

i said to some of my friends, that i didn't know why but i feel that this win is a sign to us that soon things would tilt pakistan's way and things would improve.

then we saw how successful swat operation was, rupee's devaluation stopped or slowed down dramatically, we had heavy rainfalls where required and dams became full, stock exchange going sky high again and taliban's BM along with many big terrorists killed in a quick succession of time.

All this happened, and i am not saying it happened coz we won the world cup, but i think that win might have been a sign of hope and happiness to us, thats what motivated me to start this thread, not only to share our happiness with other members but also to express our opinion in this context.

Pakistan shell rise Inshallah, no doubt about it. I agree with your feeling to a degree that Pakistan is coming out of its worst time. But messages of nature are meaningful and productive. Like our victory in Sawat is good omen for the country but how would you consider sitting of Zardari at the top which is probably the worst thing that can happen to this homeland. We need to be rational instead of judgmental.

Almost a year back, some astrologist had appeared in Hassan Nisar's program "Choraha" who, according to his wisdom, tried to explain how things will turn up for the country. He mentioned year 2008 and 2009 would be the worst years for the country and I think we can pretty much call them the black years in our history when we saw Lawlessness, Electricity Shortfall, Floor Crises, Drone Attacks, Economy going down, Tensions on both borders, Suicidal Attacks and people like Zardari coming into power.

Since the year 2009 is ending, we are already feeling there is some positive change in the air on almost every front. Electricity crises is coming to end. Floor crises is over and we have the best crop probably in a decade, yes dams are full of water, law and order situation is on improve, judiciary is gaining power and even economy is expected to get back on track.

Now considering your call of learning from a cricket match, I think that is a little too lame to be an omen specially when there is 50% probability that India would come victorious in the next match. "Hum hain Pakistani hum to jeetay gay han jeetay gay" had given us nothing, infect we lost that world cup miserably. Allah dont like proud people for sure, so even if we have come victorious this time, all we can do is say "Thanks to God" and keep trying harder and harder. Don't think that this victory was given to Pakistan as a gift..and it is something which would never go in the favor of our enemy, just because our good time has started?.. No! Not at all!

Pakistan and India are two different countries with two different geographical settings, different people, different ideologies, different beliefs, different societies, etc...

No need to comapre the two countries.

Pakistanis should use their natural resources, talent, hard-work, and geo-strategic location to develop the country. Pakistan has very HIGH potential.

And congratulations to all Pakistanis on the win, we need to be patriotic and keep being optimistic...its important to have faith to be successful.

I think my thread is over-shadowed by newer threads, anyways this post of mine is to put it back on track.

COMEON GUYS I NEED UR OPINION, SHOW ME THERE ARE OTHERS WHO CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I WANT TO KNOW FROM YOU...

sometimes realism is not everything, speculation might be a future probability....

Pakistan record thrilling victory against India

CENTURION: Pakistan defeated India by 54 runs in an exciting contest in their Group A day-night match in the ICC Champions Trophy here on Saturday.

Chasing a difficult target of 303, India batted well but their tail collapsed after experienced Rahul Dravid departed in 42nd over.

Dravid made 76 with four boundaries while opener Gautam Gambhir smashed 57 from 46 balls with two sixes and seven fours and Suresh Raina hit 46 off 41 balls with five fours and two sixes.

Seamers Mohammad Aamer and Rana naved-ul-Hasan, spinners Shahid Afridi and Saeed Ajmal claimed two wickets each.

Earlier, an enterprising century by Shoaib Malik and brilliant 87 by Mohammad Yousuf helped Pakistan set India a difficult target of 303 runs.

Malik made 128 from 126 balls and struck 16 fours while Yousuf hit seven fours in his 88-ball innings. He was later declared man-of-the-match.

Both added 206 runs, a record fourth wicket partnership against India.

For India, seamers Ashish Nehra bagged four wickets for 55 runs while Ishant Sharma claimed two for 39.
