Pakistan should opt for a FM like Dr. Man Mohan Singh, who can define a road map for its economy for next 10 to 15 years. it has to reduce the total dependence on CPEC for its economy to recover. moreover aids from U.S.,Saudis and other agencies should be curtailed asap.
It should start its Gas Line project with Iran without any delay and in the meanwhile buy electricity from SAARC nations till it becomes self sufficient in producing its energy needs.
Pakistan should focus on Export of agri products, textile and IT services which has potential to be at par with the best in the world.

one of Pakistani news channel was saying that In Pakistan every govt make roads to fool people. Roads are directly visible to people and people think that nation is growing and govt is doing job.
None of the Pakistani govt did not concentrate on growing industries etc.

Those projects have to serve practical purposes and not just built to provide money to poor people. That's socialism and it never works.

Bullsh!t, Pakistan isn't a socialist or communist country, where the the center makes the orders and exports. Then again... most of the Parliamentarians are the industrial and landowners..

But this is poor management on the behalf of Pakistan's Embassy Economic Attaches. How me 1 economic attache that did a convention in the host nation and i'll show you 10 attaches that have done nothing. On top of that I'll explain to you how easy it is to get a visa to Pakistan even though the policies state the visa process can take no less than 1 week.

Free trade is not the way to go. For essential commodities, perhaps yes. But otherwise, absolutely not.

South Korea did it in the 70s. Look at their manufacturing sector now. Exporting high-end technological products to the world. India's done it for selective industries such as automobiles too. 30 years on their automobile industry's world-class.

S. Korea also had a beneficial dictator. Who also had the willpower to crack down on the feudal lords.

Pakistan's Second Five Year Economic Plan was copied by S. Korea and look at them now. Is what you're post should say. Do you honestly believe with a what ?40%? literacy rate among Pakistanis who also have memory loss will realize that the politicians they have elected should be thrown out?

Free Trade only works in a North-South Economic States. The North being Economically developed and the South not so much. That's why the EU worked in the beginning. You had German exports made in Romania that are guaranteed to have the similar quality controls as any German product made in Germany.
