There will be no war between nuclear rivals. There are many other and better ways to achieve the goal of good bilateral relations.
Ji, I do not think both the countries will have a normal bilateral relationship. Not any time in the future.
Only way to solve the conflict is Pakistan vacating occupied Kashmir because India cannot be asked to vacate as it holds the instrument of accession which is also a legal instrument.
Pakistan cannot force India to conduct a plebiscite because it signed couple of bilateral agreements assuring it wouldn't ask for it.
Pakistan cannot bring a third party into the conflict. It has tried it and it didn't work.
Pakistan will not give up Azad Kashmir unless it starts paying a much higher price.
All these Hurriyat, JuD and Shiv Sena are just playing second fiddle to the conflict and making the Governments not have a clear mind to think about the problem. On top of these the Pakistan Army is playing a spoil sport.
Do you think peace will be achieved despite all these hurdles ?
Strictly no offense, I am just saying what the real situation is.
Pakistan has no future with India. China is the only player in the region which can help our economy. India has nothing to offer to Pakistan.
If at all Kashmir conflict is resolved (consider India has Pakistan Occupied Kashmir). Then you will be cut-off from China. At that time who can help you more ? India or China ?
By the way I agree with you. India will not have a future with Pakistan.
It is always better to back off from each other and live peacefully.
