Pakistan’s soil will not be used against any country: DG ISPR

To me it looks like a carefully planned setup. Americans now have a ceasefire agreement with Taliban in Afghanistan and for past few months they are trying to cosy up with us. They have not reacted strongly to Turkish intervention in Libya either.

And through out last year we have seen Air defense Systems and military equipment getting transferred to Israel, (US transferred THAAD to them they had requested them repeatedly before but were always denied) Kuwait and rest of GCC. It was happening so often that people ignored it after the first few times because nothing was happening. It looks like they were setting the stage for all this.

A new insight.

Are you contemplating USAF action from bases in Afghanistan. I guess this would pose problems for the Taliban as they do not want any aggressive posturing from their soil either. I think this would violate their peace agreement and the Talibans would react. They approached Palkistan but got no interestfrom PAkistanand if they get desperate they might interfere in Paklands to establishe their own puppy in power. PAkistan seems to have outwitted them so there is no other option than to use Qatar base.
I still think there will be no action and my hunch is based on reasons which I dont want to discuss in open forum. I suspect there maybe a token show off/brandishing of arms in the Persean Gulf but not else where.
It is imperative for Paklands to stay out of this nuisense and furhtermore discourage US from indulging in Iran. there is a specific target and there maybe more arms buying spree from the Arabs to force them to empty thier coffers. Iran works brilliantly as the ultimate devil in the region to scare everyone from. However it is unlikely that the US will engage Iran directly.
False flag operations from Pak side to Iran to instigate unrest could be another ploy but I dont know to what extent it can be orchestrated and what effect it will have. It maybe that they try to remove IK by something drastic and then blame it on Iran. However there is no mileage in gettiing Pak to fight Iran as there is no money to be made. However the use of Iran as a Devil against the Arabs and squeeze them for all they have got is a good technique and may be tried. The Arabs will fall for it as their Govtts are just not sturdy enough to resist US pressure. Let us see how this pans out.

Pakistan will never stand with EYERAN or MERIKA in my opinion both are no good and are friends of each other, this (marg barg amrika is for shits and giggles) tons of Iranians live out side Iran and are extremely happy to leave that places.

Iran pokes in into everyone and then expects to be spooned. What Pakistan needs to do is to prepare its military for the bullshit that EYERAN might do in Pakistan in regards to Civil US assets in Pakistan nuff said.

They do not have "Open Beef with us" & neither do we, but that doesn't make our Government friends with Iran
I agree with your gist but disagree that they do not have beef with us. They do have beef with us and will not move in the Middle East till they have defanged Paklands. Currently this is the problem they face. They want to achieve their aims with the mnimum possible fuss but how??? This is the question. They tried for 10 years installing their puppets but once they were gotten rid of they want to hatch another plan.

If we look at the western mentality of greed and power and assign an end result and work backwards( think of Greater Israel as the end result and look at the Arab spring as the first in many steps although the great game started in 1918 with the formation of Israel and the breakdown of the Turkish empire into smaller state and deeply intrenching secular Ideology within the Turkish state) I think you will get to where I am currently looking at the situation.

I also have this inkling that the process of arriving at reconciliation with Taliban as well as Pakistan, has something to do with the possible coming US action against Iran. In a way, by this sort of truce, US has ensured the security of its assets in Afghanistan.

May you also enjoy some savoury lassi this cold Sunday evening...No we are not in the picture....But next time Pakistan thinks of commenting about internal issues of india, please do think about the murder of millions of muslims that you let slid by, just because they were perpetrated by Americans

My moral support is for whoever is the underdog in this fight
Then show your morarality for the plight of the kashmiris, so we can believe you.

I havew alluded to this in my post. The Talibans would consider this as a breech of the contract. However I really think this is sabre rattling and I have explained my point of view and the aims that the US wants to achieve. We are in a state of deception. Nothing is what it seems.

So who will defend Mecca from foreign attack once Iran is gone?

Great! Now can Iran stop allowing its soil to be used by India? Remember this guy?

Not sure why Pakistan continues to try "play the hero" hoping for attention from international community which doesn't give a crap.

neither all Hindus drink cow urine nor do all hindus are interested in lyinching...You are just interested in making blatant derisive remarks...never have i ever made any derogatory remarks towards Islam or Muslims or Pakistan
Cow Urine sell at higher rates then milk. So that means it is something special for the Indian Hindus and by making such remarks, you might land in trouble. The RSS might make you an example for not loving Cow urine.

Anyway its not derogatory remarks towards your religion, actually, its a fact and Hindus feel proud of it. Don't know wats wrong with you.

Who gives a damn about Pakistani wishes. Just ask PM Khan and his wish to attend the Kuala Lumpur Summit and how that ended. It only took $5 billion to buy PM Khan.
Actually the 5 billion was already deposited with SBP and he threatened to withdraw it only :omghaha:

Pakistan has had very long and historical relations with Iran going back to the Achmanaed era about 500 BC! A country can ‘Like’ or ‘Lump’ her neighboring countries but cannot change them and regrettably Iran in our neighbor. Pakistan, therefore, cannot and should not let the USA or Saudi Arabia use its land for any military action against Iran.

However, while the ‘Neutral’ policy is the most prudent choice; the ground reality dictates otherwise. In case of hostilities breaking out; unable to target the USA directly and Israel being geographically too far; Iran is most likely to respond by attacking Saudi & UAE targets. In such a scenario, Pakistan would be obliged to provide some kind of military assistance to KSA; probably in the form of pilots and /or anti-aircraft support.

Hence realistically speaking, it would be next to impossible for Pakistan to remain completely neutral. India, on the other hand, would remain aloof and completely ‘Neutral’ thus coming out smelling like roses when the conflict ends.
