I'd have to differ with you here. Yes you are correct in saying that this is a social problem. There can be many solutions to this problem. But i think we have a misunderstanding here. Islam is a religion. BUT religion may be separate from matters of state or daily life in other countries....not in Muslim countries. You have probably misunderstood Islam. At-least thats what i perceive from your post.

One....Islam is not a religion to be practiced by only a few religious devout people. There is no monk, Pope, bishop, priest. Every Muslim is supposed to practice the faith equally. And therefore the rules and regulations of Islam are to be followed by all muslims.

Two...Islam is not just worship, rituals and thats it....no! It explains how to live, how to interact, how to do justice, how to do everything in life....Its a complete manual. Everything's in it. So when that guy above said that the practice is a BIG sin...it means that this alone is enough to make those people outcasts, hated by the society. The rules of our faith are very just...if you see Muslims as not perfect beings..it's because 99% fail to follow their faith (completely).

I intend not to start a religious debate. Just to clear the point that no matter the issue is social, economic, military, etc it is covered by the faith. The faith is intricately linked with every sphere of life. I hope that clears it.

All of this above is your OPINION. But let's keep faith aside shall we? If you insist, then I am outta here.

There is no deference or strict punishment in the Anglo Saxon laws of pakistan for such heinous crimes , if anything one can assume that such behaviour is promoted since the royals and the law makers themselves have been found involved in such satanic rituals I.e jimmy saville case which brought the issue to center stage yet again . For such abuse of children to stop in pakistan we will have to implement the strict code of Islamic jurisprudence which will deter the sick twisted maniacs to keep their hands off children .
At the moment as the legal system stands if an individual is found to be guilty and sentenced he can b out in 2 -3 years , which is proving not to be a deference for chronic abusers. Especially in our society where every house has a slave child , May it be male or female in their houses , there is always room for abuse by the masters of the house , teenage masters of the house in particular who abuse the child salve and than threaten him/her with violence on exposure or bribe them with gifts or money in to submission , which often goes unreported for years . Therefore in such exploitative society until n unless we establish the strict code of Islamic jurisprudence innocence of children will continue to be raped by demons hidden amongst us under the guise of humans!
