Pakistan's S.W.A.T Fighting Taliban - A News Reoprt by Rohit Gandhi

More clips like this for the nay sayers and "Do More"brigade.

Rohit Gandhi is not Pakistani. He is actually an Indian reporter who has worked for CBC in Canada and for CNN. The access he has managed to get is more impressive considering the difficult relations between the two countries. Great report Rohit.

Goes to show that some sensible Indian reporters working for sensible channels do suscribe to reality rather than their home grown media propoganda of terrorism. On the second though, the Indian were soo deperate to launch surgical strikes. Why dont we invite their parachute regiment to have some trial here??

I think we should stop caring for these bastereds! They are not our friends.
We are facing major brunt, our soldiers are getting martyred, our people are getting killed daily but they still want 'more' instead of helping us.

Granted, but it makes for good show and tell when a troll comes knocking.

At one place there is Rohit Gandhi and at another, Fareed Zakariya.............you know what i mean right?

its obvious that the pak army will fight armed insurgents belligerent towards it. hardly conclusive enough to believe that there are no terrorist organizations in collusion with isi / pak army anymore.

the habit of using armed insurgents for 'strategic purposes' will not go away overnight. its a dangerous game of course and sometimes backfires.

i am speaking in general terms because i am no position to know the specifics.

This is really interesting thinking! If Pakistan army is using these tribes for strategic purpose than who the hell is fighting with Pakistan Military?

If so many Pakistanis are getting killed? Why so many of our soldiers are getting martyred?

Because the game is dangerous, and some of the insurgents groups who were friendly have turned hostile (due to ideological, geo-political or other factors).

This theory has no feet! How can a person who is willing to sacrifice his life for strategic purposes of Pakistan suddenly turn hostile with no reason?
If you are arguing that Pakistan using them for strategic purposes than their should be no clash of ideologies..!Isn't it?
And yea, geo politics has been changed due to American Presence in this region but don't you think that it should have affected America more than Pakistan but case is opposite.

power corrupts. who wouldn't like to be a local warlord. people who do mercenary acts under the garb of religion are pathologically ill and therefore unreliable.

how they are getting huge quantitity of weapons from afghanistan how they are bringing them in pakistan is all USA sattelite have failed to see them moving in pakistan and how they get them from where in afghanistan afgahn is now contrilled by US allied forces so it is their responsibility to stop them ratther than asking us to do more

This makes me proud to see our boys in green, we have one of the best trained soldiers in the world.

Doesn't work like that, wanna be warlords are a dime a dozen and end up like Sufi Rehmatullah... The reality is far different from what anyone outside Pakistan garners from print, electronic media and hearsay!
