So when asked for statistics to back your claims, you dish out these dumb articles. Two of them have the same story (as in copy + paste job). Two of them are written by William Darlymple - hardly the most objective, or the most well informed source. BTW, one of the articles by William is nearly 6 years old. The others, you appear to have lifted from the blogposts of the infamous Riaz Haq.

As someone who succumbs to the "big-mouth" syndrome, the "burden of proof" to establish the legitimacy of claims is on you. And for that you have to do better than 6 year old articles.

Finally, do you understand what "anecdotal evidence" means? And do you understand why such evidence is as useful as a refrigerator in Siberia?

That is not Lowari tunnel, work started in 1978 and work was again stopped 2 years back. I have seen the video of Lowari Tunnel. It took us only 7 years to dig 11.2 km long tunnel for Kashmir railway.

The work started om 78 but was stopped until 2005 it was begun again but stopped in 2012 cause of lack of funds and has now again begun and will be completed in 2-3 years... its about money.

China should export HSR to Pakistan, and link Xinjiang with gwadar port. This would let China move troops quickly, but also give Pakistan a clean and cool way of getting around the country. And in the event of War with India, India will think twice before destroying something the Chinese built and thus leave a reliable transportation system in Pakistan at all times.
