Instead of stopping at 300 and 700 KM fire crackers, Pakistan had ICBMs. There wouldn’t be “with us or against us” Situation. Even now Pakistan has some retarded India centric logic.

Can you really threaten USA with a few dozen ICBM? They have line of Anti ballistic missile system between USA and Pakistan. Furthermore, they need not to go militarily but can devastate you just by financial sanctions.

Look at Iran despite having oil close to KSA and having a much larger industrial base then KSA are suffering alot due to US restriction.

Not all the battles can be fought with missiles. Every battle has its own tools and in case of taking on US you need to change your league. Currently you are already fighting an enemy 7 times bigger than yours and you want another enemy which is financially and militarily more than 100 times strong?

First develop yourself like Turkey and China to get into that league otherwise you will end up becoming pawn of other countries like North Korea and Afghnistan or a rogue country like Iran.

At the end general population of country will suffer.

In short current battleground is economy and not military. We are much stronger militarily in comparision to our ecnomy.

What most Indians don't realize is that Pakistan is fail-safe switch for US's upcoming endeavours against China. If things don't go according to plan in US's quest to defeat China in cold war, they would need to have a fallback plan aka diplomacy. For that they need a mediator, which is a role that no other country is better suited for.

Many would disregard this idea, but if you think about Taliban and US battle 10 years ago, many would have disregarded the idea of Pakistan's mediation in that situation too.

In my opinion, Pakistan has a lot to gain from this rivalry unlike foolish neighbours who think they will gain by fighting the US war to retain world leadership.

An anerage American don't care anything about Pakistan. Plus they see Pakistanis as hardworking, top earning, mostly educated people.

I have personally interacted with many military veterans who happen to be my colleagues and they see American involvement in middle east as politics and US govt fault. In short an average American don't hate Pakistanis nothing like Indians. Often we in Pakistan make a mistake of painting western countries with bharti brush. The major difference is that Indians have deep hatred inside their heart for Pakistanis and Muslims, an average western or American doesn't.

Furthermore it is a necessity for Pakistan to have relations with US which have mutual respect and cordial. US have enormous influence in world politics and it is the largest market for exports at least for another 100 years.

Now it is the job of Pakistani diplomats and rulers how they will make sure that they work with the west with Pakistani interests in mind. As for China, it is like a brother and it should be kept that way. I don't need to say much on that because I don't see Sino Pak relations getting affected by anything...there is a reason it is called "all weather friend".
