I wonder if any of these mutual cooperation will result in any JVs.

. . . .
This is Rana Tanveer 2nd or 3rd visit to Egypt in past few years so something big is going on

Will Saudi be happy of such development between Pakistan and Egypt?

KSA and Egypt enjoy good relations despite some disagreements and they both enjoy good relations with Pakistan ..and with China also..
It is in KSA interest to see a strong Egypt which also has a lot to offer to Pakistan.. there were talks about a JV for the JF-17 a while ago , so it might be revived again , we know that Egypt takes time in evaluating weapon systems but with Sisi the decisions after long evaluations are swift..
Now since KSA, Qatar and Bahrein have also confirmed their interest in the JF-17, there is a strong probability that it will be produced in some Arab countries.. Egypt already has a production line of Chinese or Pakistani trainers as well as some assembly lines..
With the unveiling of its specifically designed AESA radar it became more potent and more attractive add to it its BVR capabilities and the weapon choices.. The Engine will most probably be changed to an American one or a Chinese one..

Nonsense. Both KSA and Egypt are now arch rival. KSA suspend crucial oil supplies to Egypt trying to cut off Egypt economic lifeline. Egypt support Assad which is a slap on house of Saud. The r/s between both are very bad. It just short of a military conflict.

:crazy::omghaha::rofl:o_O

Do you really believe that overall small disagreements in regards to Syria (no, Egypt is not going to support any side militarily - Al-Sisi's main concern is MB-inspired groups in Syria who KSA also sees as a potential threat although KSA wants the downfall of the Al-Assad regime) will impact the brotherly and sisterly ties between two fellow Arab and neighboring countries whose ties transcend all walks of life (blood, language, culture, religion, ancient pre-Islamic and Islamic history, economy, KSA hosting the largest Egyptian diaspora in the world etc. to just name a few things)?

Not to say that KSA and Egypt will gain nothing from being hostile to each other let alone it being beneficent for both countries to have cordial ties and our region that we are both key components of.

Sometimes non-Arabs on this forum, when discussing affairs of the Arab world, really lack the sufficient knowledge. No offense.

As for Russia and KSA, outside of Syria, there is growing cooperation and a lot of promising deals have been signed. Everything from nuclear cooperation, Russia offering to built nuclear reactors in KSA to significant KSA investments in Russia etc. Not that I care much about Russia, I rather increase ties with China which KSA also has significantly closer ties to.

what ksa has to do with this anyway ?

I have no idea. KSA has cordial and brotherly ties with Egypt and especially Saudi Arabian people and Egyptian people. KSA too has great and historic ties with Pakistan. KSA has more or less been an important ally of Pakistan since its foundation in 1947. I at least do not know any other country that has had cordial ties with Pakistan throughout the past 69 years in a row with a few bumps here and there but nothing significant. Except maybe Turkey. The key here is that such a meeting will never bother KSA rather we might look (and probably do) at it as something positive.

I see a lot of ignorant/misguided people around here. A shame for the debates. Sometimes I catch myself laughing hysterically at the stupidity that I sometimes (read too often) witness.
