Pakistan’s Middle Class Soars as Stability Returns

.
Alhamdulillah, Subhan'Allah, Masha'Allah.

All people of Pakistan deserve this. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Zindabad.

. . .
It is not about democracy or other systems, its about stability of the system. A foreign investor does not care about which political system is being followed in the country, what concerns him are the policies and business environment of the land.

Now in the case of Pakistan, newly started military rules are considered as instability in the system by foreigner investors. So, their insecurities increase regarding economic policies whenever system come across any form of disturbance. So this is why may see FDI and other indicators fall down. But if such rules prolong, the investors see the conditions as being stable and hence the economy starts to grow again.

As far as the current growth and encouraging news is concerned, the credit goes to both the civil as well as military leadership. Reduction in terror was necessary to start this era of prosperity as life and safety comes first while everything else later. Now, i will not call it as best possible work but however, the civil govt has also done very good work in some sectors. Energy crisis are on the verge of decline. Gas supply is becoming more regular to industry. And a investor friendly environment has been created. SO both deserve our appraisal.

As I keep stressing, regardless of how bad the leaders and how ineffective the government is, keep supporting democracy and democratic process in the country (That alone is the biggest indicator of stability to the outside world). Don't follow the politicians (any party) like a blind idiot, keep checking them, keep asking questions, and keep demanding better systems, infra-structure and transparency. Everything will fall in line in due course. It will take some time to undo damage of last 7 decades.

Take him to india with you
You see even your friend can't turn you positive, not a bit.
Anyone you dislike or disagree is a rawagent, indian, kafir, zionist, liberal, secular, shia and whatnot. you are the masters of labelling people. 10 negatives have made you a frustrated youth..
Anyways, care to explain that why are you not happy with such a good news?

No man! But we can try to journey in the light of the Messenger. Dont underestimate Pakistan and yourself .

I wish Pakistanis could be like Canadian, then we can aim higher. I dont know which Pakistan you live in but the Pakistan I know there is no Islam in 99.9999% of Pakistanis.

No, when did I say I am a saint, but its is not about me as a individual is it? its about the nation.

Individuals are rotten to the core

Consumer spending rockets as poverty shrinks, terrorism drops and democracy holds

This got nothing to do with democracy. We need to delink all the good that is happening in Pakistan with democracy. In its present shape, democracy in Pakistan is nothing but pure evil, a tool of forigen powers to keep Pakistan in perpetual struggle.
First of, it's naive to believe that there is no link between democratic traditions and what is happening in Pakistan's growth engine.

Second, Pakistan's democracy is still in its infancy. It took the brits and the Americans hundreds of years to get where they are, and even they run into a lot of problems; Yet, I don't think anyone can argue against democracy being a blessing for these two countries.

That said, kudos to Pakistan and congrats.

Middle class growth is the road to genuine progress and development.

Buddy you are getting very cynical. Not everyone is bad. Karachi' Indus hospital, Dr. Adeeb Rizvi Kidney center, Imran Khan Cancer Hospitals, Dr Amjad Saqib's Aqhuwat, Edhi trust, and so many more trusts spend billions, all donatwe by these Pakistanis. People collected billions for the 2005 earth quake. My sister and brother in law gave their hajj money. I know so many people who so spontaneously gave large sums of money. For every bad person Allah creates one good person otherwise this World would have been dead long ago.

@All

I'd hate to bust your happy place bubbles and be the bearer of bad news but don't let this very very good news get to your heads. There is much work to be done and on top of that, WORLD WAR 3 IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! So don't get too relaxed
Rather, sober up to the fact that WW3 is gonna happen, mentally prepare yourselves for it, physically prepare yourselves for it, financially prepare yourselves for it, industrially prepare yourselves for it, militarily prepare yourselves for it.

Pakistan has a very critical role to play in the upcoming meat grinder!

Going in a 'RIGHT' direction now- we still have to come over many obstacles towards our journey to reclaim the title of a 'GREAT NATION' that we once were as there are countries like india, US which will try and make it difficult for us but we should move forward.
