May be may be not.depends on if all Pakistanis convert to single religion. But this is not going to happen because foreigners can't occupy our land. Will Pakistan still exist as a nation if say suddenly the religion of all Pakistanis change from Islam?
According to our religion state is responsible for protection of minorities.if state is doing its job so minorities should divert their faithfulness to state.but there is very small percentage of minorities in Pakistan. They had the chance to leave, they didn't left, now state is responsible for their safety. And what role, identity, status of those living in the nation for Muslims who are non-Muslims (Hindus, Christians) or those who you deem as non-Muslims (Ahmedis)? How do these people perceive the identity of Pakistan? Or is it that their perception does not matter?
But Pakistan is the only country in the world history which is established on the basis of religion.other Muslim countries already existed even without islam,so they will probably exist even if Islam diminishes from there. But Pakistan never existed without Islam and probably will not exist without Islam. If I talk about other Muslim majority nations like Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, Iran etc, I am sure they will still remain soveriegn nations irrespective of what religion the citizens follow
