Pakistan’s GSP Plus status could be under threat, says EU

Is there a certain people-executed-per-year statistic the EU should be looking at to determine which country is losing it's privileges and which one isn't? Anyways, last time I checked, the security situation in Saudi Arabia is a tad different from the security situation in Pakistan.

What does security have to do with executing people?

If it's about influence, why do the lives of executed people matter? The level of mental gymnastics and Vedic defecation Bharatis go through to justify bullshit is too goddamn much.

It's diplomatically weak. EU opposes the death penalty anywhere it is practiced. It's practiced both in the US and Pakistan, but EU is not threatening US with trade sanctions. Why not?

Come on, in one response you're claiming that Pakistan is killing more people then Saudi Arabia, as if this is a perfect justification to penalize Pakistan and in another you're claiming that it's about influence, not about lives lost. One day Pakistan's suspends the "Readmission agreement" with EU the next day EU threatene to suspend GSP plus status of Pak....
