This player is international caliber talent

  • Fantastic Passing
  • IQ for game is at elite level
  • Nice Technique
Playing with other 9 players who are not at same technical level as him , still he shines brightly , extra ordinary talent

The Arabic commentator was nothing buy praise for his talent over the ball

Wow. I didn't know the Pakistani team had such a talent. I can already guage by his handling and movement that this guy is head and shoulders above the rest. His movement with the ball is excellent. His dribble is awesome. Insight is also very good. Passing is very good. He is very speedy. He is creative and tries to create opportunities, but the rest doesn't understand him. He is a gem. I wonder which club he plays for. He has the potential to grow. He should be scouted and move to some European club. Play there for a few good years and he can become really good.

Edit: Wow. He is from Chitral. I didn't know that. Chitralis are football crazy. Like players from Lyari. I would love to see Pakistan do well in football. Especially since football is so close to my heart. When I visit Chitral I often play with some locals there in Ayun. The passion these guys have for the game is like no other. These guys are so organised and passionate about the game. They organize tournaments and each team has their own kit.

I have seen something special about Chitralis. They have the ability to survive outside their comfort zone. They are very strong physically and mentally. A Chitrali player like him would have zero problems adjusting abroad which is often a problem for many top talents even from football nations like Argentina and Brazil. He hails from a cold region and some parts of Europe can be cold. Nothing like Chitral though.

Football is part of my life. I have played at Ajax youth academy and got scouted at a young age, but moved to the UK and unfortunately stopped playing at a higher level. Still played plenty in the UK. I still play football with some Turkish and Dutch friends in free time. Some play at top clubs at the Eredivisie here in The Netherlands which is the Dutch premier league.

You're right that he was probably first to actually have some degree of ability. Did Zesh Rehman really break through though beyond the likes of Fulham, QPR etc? Hopefully we can build on from his achievements.

A player like Alamgir shouldn't go to the UK in my opinion. The premier league is physically very demanding. I can see that Alamgir is physically gifted, but he needs to focus on refining his technical play. He should first come to The Netherlands and play for a club like FC Groningen. There is no better place for him. I have seen some of the other footage online. This guy is a serious talent. He will be instantly picked up by Ajax, PSV or Feyenoord which are the top clubs in The Netherlands. Many big names came to the eredivisie and grew into massive players. To name a few: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Luis Suarez, Ronaldo, Romario, Christian Eriksen and so many others. The eredivisie is known for nurturing top talents. I hope this talent is picked up by some Dutch club.

Usually top talents are scouted by Ajax and PSV. The players often move to bigger clubs in Europe after a few years. The Netherlands is an excellent academy for top talents who further refine their technical abilities.

Holland is a great proving ground, always has been. It would be great to see him play in Europe. He definitely needs to bulk up a bit. Looks a bit skinny on this video.
I have played at Ajax youth academy
Ok so you actually know what you're talking about if you reckon he's half decent.

Ajax and Borussia Dortmund have the best academies.

I have played football my whole life. I can judge this guy has serious talent. His movement is very quick. His handling of the ball is superb. He can also pass and find space. He is an all round. You can see that others around him just don't understand him. He is two steps ahead of the rest. This guy belongs at a decent club with good players around him. It would make him even better. I wonder where he is playing right now.

How come we dont have more good football players? What is the British-Pakistani community doing? There are over 1 million Pakistanis in the UK and yet no big player.

Look at the French-Algerian stars past and current. Dutch-Turkish players. German-Turkish. Dutch-Moroccan. French-Moroccan.

Pakistan Football Federation could benefit from British-Pakistani players. The same way Turkish national team recruits players from Holland, Germany, Belgium and Austria + other european Countries.

Same with Morocco. Selecting players from Holland, Belgium, Germany and France.

Algerian team where the majority of players are french born.

Ajax and Borussia Dortmund have the best academies.

Ajax academy is renowned for technical insight and play. They produce a lot of technically gifted players. Watch Bergkamp and Cruyff if you want to understand Ajax philosophy. Two of the greatest players Ajax has ever produced. Bergkamp is my all time favorite along with Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. Not Cristiano Ronaldo, but Ronaldo from Brazil.

Zesh Rahman has done precisely what you suggested. He has fed back to Pakistan's football development, first and foremost by playing for Pakistan, but also from off the pitch efforts. But you're right, more is needed.

I don't understand why British-Pakistanis who are good at football at an amateur level fail to progress. As usual, there is a combination of reasons within and beyond our control.

There’s a British Pakistani in the under 18 academy for man united and one of the best young talents in Manchester United (Zidane Iqbal) There’s a lot of potential within British Pakistanis but most parents don’t support it, thus them leaving football, trust me I know this first hand.
